Customer Reviews
- Marius· August 11th, 2025In general this tour was well organized and all happened according to the iternary as has been presented to us. The accommodation was at Avatar Lodge which was very good. The food was very tasty and more than enough. The staff ,management and guides were friendly and knowlegable. The rooms were comfortable and clean and free of "creepy crawlies" Cold water shower only, which seems to be the norm in Iquitos? The swimming pool was a life saver.Show more

Asked on March 7th, 2025Does this trip take us to Macchu Picchu and back by railway as I do not want to trek?
- G

Traveler•Written March 2025Is the entry ticket to macchu picchu included?
- PVTravelsOperator•Written March 2025
The trip to Machu Picchu is by train, we work with the Tourist Voyager or Expedition train. The entrances to Machu Picchu are included, the circuit depend on the availability at time of booking.

Traveler•Written March 2025Is it possible to pair me with another solo traveller as the single person discount is almost 400 GBP, is very very steep for me. Alternatively can a discount be offered to me.
- PVTravelsOperator•Written March 2025
We can offer the same itinerary, but in shared rooms (4 or 6 beds). Our price would be: US$1781.00 for the 10days.

- PVTravelsOperator•Written December 2024
The night buses are "bus cama" they can easily sleep, there is bathroom, but no food served on board, they can take snacks with them.

Asked on June 14th, 2023Could this be modified to a flight from Lima to Arequipa? We see that the bus ride may be too exhausting. Also, they would like to spend more time in Cusco and the surrounding areas. Please reply back with options and pricing.
- PVTravelsOperator•Written June 2023
I'm sending attach an alternative itinerary, instead of taking the bus to Arequipa, they would return to Lima, and could take the flight on the next day.

Asked on March 25th, 2023We are looking into Peru trip for Sept 2024 and are wondering if you could provide examples of the hotels you use in Lima, Cusco, etc. We are not interested in hostels and are looking for at least a 3 star hotel.
- PVTravelsOperator•Written March 2023
The hotels included on the itinerary are: Lima - Hotel Tambo II Miraflores, Paracas - Hotel Riviera inka, Huacachina - Curawasi Hucachina, Arequipa - Hotel Vita, Cusco - Siete Ventanas. Any change on accommodation, in case you have a preference, let me know and we can change.

Asked on March 18th, 2023How strenuous is the daily walking on this tour?
- PVTravelsOperator•Written March 2023
This is a Easy to Moderate itinerary. In Huacachina you will have the sandboarding tour, which is an adventure tour, but the rest of the tours are easy walk.

Asked on March 6th, 2022Where is the Lima to Arequipa flight in this tour? The passenger noticed it says "not included" but unsure where this would fit into the itinerary. Please advise. Day 7 - there is an overnight bus on two occasions during the tour - is there an option to upgrade to a flight instead? Or can the pax opt to book one themselves, and if so, can you please advise on appropriate timings?
- PVTravelsOperator•Written March 2022
Sorry! But they would not need a flight from Lima to Arequipa, as they would be taking the bus from Nazca to Arequipa, I will correct the itinerary. They can take the flight from Arequipa to Cusco, if the want, the flight should be on DAY 08, we recommend the flight to arrive in Cusco no later than 11am, as the afternoon tour starts at 13:00h. We would be changing the night bus to an extra night at the hotel in Arequipa.

Traveler•Written March 2022This is Izabela, the prospective customer who asked Kassy the questions you have just answered. I just want to confirm what you just wrote in your email. 1. On day 7: overnight in Arequipa 2. On day 8: flight Arequipa- Cusco ( not cover, my own expense)arriving not later than 11am. 3. The cost $1,513 plus $426 single supplement for dates April 15-24 Please, confirm if this info is correct.
- PVTravelsOperator•Written March 2022
That is all correct, I would be adding the extra night in Arequipa instead of the bus and take you to the airport in Arequipa on day 8 and pick you up from the airport in Cusco on the same day. The cost $1,513 plus $426 single supplement for dates April 15-24, Yes, that's correct!

Traveler•Written March 2022I have been thinking about the itinerary and have one more question. I actually want to confirm that we will have some free time in Nazca because I'm planning to visit the museum there, the Antonini museum. Please, let me know.
- PVTravelsOperator•Written March 2022
I'm sending attached a complete itinerary tailor made for you, with the extra night in Arequipa. You would have the afternoon free in Nazca, to visit the museum.
