Kolkata
You'll arrive at Kolkata airport and get transferred to your hotel for check-in. Settle in and rest up before the week ahead.

After breakfast, you'll head out to see Victoria Memorial Hall and the Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, then stop by Mother House. There's time to shop at New Market and take a local tram ride through the city. By evening, you'll join a Bengali cooking class and share dinner with a local family, getting a real sense of how people cook here.

Chandannagar - Serampore
You'll drive out to Chandannagar and Serampore to check out the old European colonial buildings and monuments from when the French and Portuguese were here. Museums and historic sites fill the morning. Back in Kolkata for the evening, you'll walk through street food stalls sampling traditional dishes before heading to your hotel.

Kolkata to Patna to Bodh Gaya
After checking out, you'll head to Kolkata airport and fly to Patna. From there, it's a transfer to Bodh Gaya where you'll check in. The evening is yours to rest and settle.

Bodh Gaya
Following breakfast, you'll explore Mahabodhi Temple and see the sacred bodhi tree and diamond throne. You'll also find the heart-shaped leaf bodhi tree nearby. Your guide will then take you around to try local Bihari food like Litti Chokha, Thilkut, and regional sweets before you settle in for the night.

You'll take a train to Varanasi, arriving around mid-afternoon. After checking into your hotel, you'll head down to the Ganges banks in the evening for the aarti ceremony with rituals, bells, drums, and Sanskrit chanting. Later, dinner is a vegetarian Varanasi thali at a local restaurant, featuring dishes made without onion and garlic.

Varanasi
An early morning boat ride on the Ganges takes you past multiple ghats, including the cremation sites. In the afternoon, a local guide leads you through Varanasi's street food scene where you'll sample Malaiyo, Tamatar Chaat, Kalakand, Malai Toast, Malpuas, Golgappas, and Banarasi Paan. Later, you'll visit Sarnath to see where Buddha gave his first sermon.

New Delhi
After breakfast around 9:00 AM, you'll head to Delhi metro for the 20-25 minute ride to Old Delhi at Chandni Chowk. A food tour has you sampling about 16-18 different Indian dishes from up to 10 family-run food joints. You'll visit the Spice Market, walk through medieval streets, and stop at a temple that feeds over 10,000 people daily. Treats include samosa, lassi, kulfi, and kebabs.

Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast, you'll drive to Jaipur, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted royal Mughal city that was Akbar's capital until 1585. Once in Jaipur, you'll check in and have the option of joining an evening street food tour to try Chole Bhaturas, Aalu Tikki, Pani Puri, and Rajasthani specialties.

After breakfast, you'll explore Amber Fort with its Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) and Rajput hill-top design, then visit Hawa Mahal and the City Palace museum.

You'll have the day to yourself in Jaipur. Later, you'll transfer to the railway station to board a train for Udaipur, arriving near 10:30 PM and checking into your hotel.

You'll start by exploring City Palace, a complex of buildings completed in 1725. After entering through Tripolia Gate, you'll see the lattice-worked balconies and ornate towers. Jagdish Temple, built in 1651, is next, then Sahelion Ki Bari in the afternoon with its fountains and pools. The evening brings a Rajasthani cooking class where you'll learn to make chai, chapattis, sweet potato patatha, garlic naan, dal, and eggplant curry from a home cook.

Street food stalls offer Pav Bhaji, Bhel Puri, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, rolls, kebabs, and Jalebi.
