- Anna· June 2nd, 2025We had great experiences in the Himalayas with the Nepal Hiking Trek. The company owner, Sudip, was very attentive and friendly and helped us with figuring out the last details in regards to our approximate itinerary as well as handling the applications for all the different required permits and the Tibet visa. They looked after us during the whole trip. I can't begin to say how amazing the views are, and to experience the local culture was amazing, and the food was fab! If this trip is something you're considering, then just go for it!Show moreTrip date: April 2025

Asked on April 28th, 2024Do I have to request the Tibet Visa by myself or are you taking care of that? And for the transport from Lhasa to Kathmandu: What is planned there I am not sure since your system says 2 different things. Do I need to buy a flight ticket or is there a chance to drive back to kathmandu with the driver or by bus?
- Nepal Hiking TrekOperator•Written April 2024
We will issue your Tibet visa but you need to pay extra 95 dollars for visa. And for the transport from Lhasa to Kathmandu, you have chance to drive to Kathmandu.

Traveler•Written April 2024How does it work with the visa. I will be arriving in Kathmandu on the 9th of August. Do I need to go somewhere in Austria to hand in my passport or is it enough if I send a copy of my passport to you? How does it work?
- Nepal Hiking TrekOperator•Written April 2024
We need your scanned copy of your passport at the booking time and your original passport a minimum of 3 working days before.
