Itinerary
- Day 1
Manaus
Your pickup happens at 7:00 AM from the hotel in Manaus, and you'll board a speedboat heading out on the Rio Negro. The first stop is Catalão floating village where you'll get to feed the Giant Arapaima fish, which is quite the experience. After that, you'll see the Meeting of the Waters where two rivers come together, then continue to Maçarico Lake and reach the lodge by 11:30 AM. The afternoon brings a canoe trip where pink river dolphins and colorful birds show up, and you can try piranha fishing if interested. By evening you head back for sunset, then there's a night boat excursion searching for caiman in the darkness.

Amazon Rainforest
You're up at 5:00 AM for a sunrise boat excursion to catch the jungle waking up, then return to the lodge for breakfast. A guided jungle trek follows where the guide points out medicinal plants, insects, and hopefully some monkeys and other wildlife. After lunch, you'll either take a canoe through the Várzea Forest exploring waterways and channels, or do a guided forest walk if it's dry season between August and March. Look for monkeys, sloths, and birds during this part of the day before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

Amazon Rainforest Overnight Camp
Breakfast is at 7:00 AM, then at 8:00 AM you visit a local riverside family to learn about how they live, grow food, and sample fruits they cultivate. The return journey includes a swim in the river and some traditional Amazonian activities. After lunch, you depart at 3:00 PM for an overnight jungle camping experience where your guide sets up camp and prepares dinner. Hammocks and mosquito nets are provided for sleeping, and before bed there's spearfishing to do on the water.

Landmarks/POIs Amazon River - Day 4
Jungle Camp
Following breakfast, you trek or canoe into a new section of forest with your expert guide learning survival techniques and local knowledge specific to the jungle. A morning hike takes you through unexplored areas, and you return to camp as the sun sets. After dark, you board a boat with flashlights and the guide's spotlight for a night safari spotting nocturnal creatures like birds, snakes, bats, and spiders. You'll also do some spearfishing and spend another night sleeping in the camp with your hammock and mosquito net.

Return to Manaus
After breakfast, there's a guided hike through another section of jungle, then you pack up the camp and head back to the lodge arriving around 11:00 AM. Lunch happens at noon at the lodge, and then you depart at 1:30 PM for the trip back to Manaus, arriving at approximately 4:00 PM.
