Itinerary
- Day 1
Rovaniemi
You'll arrive in Rovaniemi, Lapland's capital and home of Santa Claus. If your flight gets in early enough, there's time to check out Santa Village or the Science Centre Pilke before settling into your accommodation. The welcome meeting starts at 4 pm, and afterward you'll have a group dinner to meet the other travelers on your tour.

- Day 2
Rovaniemi
This morning takes you to a local family-run reindeer farm that's been operating since 1861. You'll feed the reindeer and learn how traditional herding works from people who know it firsthand. After that, the day is yours to spend however you like around Rovaniemi. The Rovaniemi Art Museum is worth a visit, there's an Angry Birds themed playground if you're interested, or just wander and find your own local spots. Your group leader can point you toward good dinner options when evening comes around.

- Day 3
Halipuu Forest to Levi
You're heading to Halipuu Forest to meet the family who owns and care for the land, and they'll share what they do for nature conservation. There you'll try arctic cocooning, which means relaxing in a hammock while wrapped up warm. Warm hot chocolate and lunch come next, with lapp-dogs (reindeer sausage wrapped in bread dough) cooked over a campfire. By evening you'll travel to Levi, where you can look for the Northern Lights from your accommodation.

- Day 4
Levi
The morning involves meeting sled dogs and learning husky mushing basics before heading out on forest trails pulled by these energetic dogs. Your afternoon is free to do what you want in Levi. Ice fishing with a guide is an option, or you could try sledding down snowy slopes if the weather cooperates. Many people join up with others from the group for dinner at a local restaurant to wrap up the trip.
