Marrakech
Your driver meets you at Marrakech Airport and takes you to your accommodation. This gives you time to settle in and get ready for what's ahead over the next week.

- Day 2
Marrakech
After breakfast at your Riad, you'll walk through Marrakech's narrow alleys with a local guide who shows you secret gardens and the busy souks. You'll see Djemaa el Fna square (a UNESCO site) and the Koutoubia Mosque. Later in the evening, the square comes alive with food vendors and performers. If you'd rather take it easy, you can book a spa treatment instead.

Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
You head out from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, passing small Berber villages and reaching Tickha peak. The route takes you to the 18th-century Telouet Kasbah and then Ait Ben Haddou, the UNESCO kasbah known from films. After lunch near the kasbah, you continue through the Valley of Roses and arrive in Boumalne Dades by evening.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
Following breakfast, you drive to Todra Gorge in Tinghir where there's good hiking. From there you pass through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching the Sahara's edge. You'll explore the dunes by camel or 4WD, watch the sunset, have a traditional Moroccan dinner, and listen to live music around a campfire in a Berber tent while stars fill the sky.

Your journey toward Fes takes you through the Ziz Valley and Midelt, then into Cedar forests where Barbary macaques live. You'll stop in Ifrane to see its alpine-style architecture and ski slopes, check out the famous lion statue, and reach Fes by evening.

Fes

There's also Nejjarine Square, the South Tower, and the King's residence. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace.

You drive toward Chefchaouen, stopping in Meknes first to see its imperial past and the Bab Mansour gate. Before reaching Chefchaouen, you visit Volubilis, a UNESCO site with ancient ruins. Then you arrive in the blue-painted city and wander its streets, visit the Kasbah, and soak in the local atmosphere.
