- Day 1
Cairo
You'll land at Cairo airport and get picked up for your hotel transfer. Once you're settled, the rest of the day is yours to walk around Egypt's largest city and get acclimated to your surroundings.

- Day 2
Cairo
This day covers Cairo's major sites. Start with the Pyramids of Cheops, Kefren, and Micerinos along with the Sphinx, then head to the Egyptian Museum to see Tutankhamun's tomb and other ancient pieces. After that, you'll visit the Citadel of Saladin and Alabaster Mosque. Later, wander through the Coptic neighborhood to check out the Hanging Church before the day ends.

Cairo to Luxor
Have breakfast early, then transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor (included). When you arrive, you'll be taken to your cruise ship to board and settle in. Before evening, visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak to get oriented with some of the region's major monuments.

- Day 4
Luxor
Spend the morning exploring the Valley of the Kings and the Necropolis of Thebes, seeing tombs of Ramses III, Seti I, and Amenhotep II. You'll also see the Colossi of Memnon statues and the temples of Queen Hatshepsut and Medinet Habu. By afternoon, relax on the cruise ship while taking in the Nile's scenery. The evening includes activities on board and a disco.

Edfu to Kom Ombo
The boat docks at Edfu where you'll see the Temple of Horus, which sits in remarkable condition after being buried under Nile sediment for centuries. Later you'll reach Kom Ombo to explore its unique two-god temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroesis, including a Nilometer and mummified crocodile. Join a local Chilaba party tonight to try on traditional Egyptian clothing.

Aswan
You'll arrive in Aswan and check out the Red Granite Quarry with its famous 41-meter Unfinished Obelisk, the Aswan Dam that created Lake Nasser, and the Temple of Philae on a small island dedicated to the goddess Isis. In the afternoon, sail on traditional felucca boats to Kitchener Island and walk through the Botanical Garden.
