Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech
Your driver picks you up at Marrakech airport and takes you to your riad. After you settle in with some traditional Moroccan tea, the rest of the day is yours to use as you like. You can head out to Jemaa el-Fnaa square where you'll find magicians and musicians performing, take a guided food tour through the city, or just relax at the riad and get comfortable.

Marrakech
A local guide walks you through Marrakech's old medina, showing you the Mellah, Lazama Synagogue, and the Jewish Museum. You'll move through the busy souks and see Jemaa el-Fnaa square with its energy and activity. After lunch at a local restaurant, you can check out the evening food scene with grilled meats and fresh juices at various stalls around the city.

Marrakech to Essaouira
You head toward the coast to Essaouira, a city the Portuguese established in the late 18th century. Once there, walk through the old medina and see the historic Mellah, Haim Pinto Synagogue, the Jewish cemetery, and Bayt Dakira, which is a Jewish museum located in the Mellah quarter with local history and cultural artifacts.

Essaouira to Casablanca
The journey continues toward Casablanca with a stop at Citerne Portugaise in El Jadida, an underground cistern from the 16th century built by the Portuguese. Later in Casablanca, you visit Beth-El Synagogue, the Jewish Museum, and Hassan II Mosque, which features contemporary Islamic architecture and sits right along the coastline.

You travel north to Fes and stop in Rabat along the way to see the Chellah necropolis, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. A guide takes you through Oudayas Kasbah where you can see views over the Atlantic Ocean. From there you move on to Fes to explore the Mellah, Ibn Danan Synagogue, the Jewish Cemetery, and the old medina.

Meknes - Volubilis
This day trip from Fes takes you to Meknes, founded by Sultan Moulay Ismail and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. You'll see the Mellah and other Jewish historical sites there. Then you drive to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site with impressive Roman ruins to walk through. After lunch, you head back to your riad in Fes for dinner.

Fes to Marrakech
Back in Marrakech, your local guide meets you at the riad and leads you to key landmarks including Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace, a 19th-century residence with beautiful details. If you prefer, you can visit Ben Youssef Madrasa instead, a 14th-century Quranic school with interesting architecture. In the evening you have a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Marrakech Departure
You spend the day relaxing at your riad. When it's time to leave, your driver takes you to Marrakech airport, arriving about two hours before your flight so you have enough time to check in and get through security.
