- Day 1
Marrakech to Casablanca to Rabat
You'll leave Marrakech early and head toward the coast to see Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, one of the largest mosques globally with its minaret rising right from the ocean. From there, continue north to Rabat where you can walk through the Royal Palace grounds, check out Hassan Tower, and explore the Kasbah of the Udayas with its narrow streets and local artisan shops. You'll settle into your premium accommodation by evening after the drive.

Chefchaouen
This morning you travel north to Chefchaouen, and when you arrive you'll see why locals call it the Blue Pearl, those blue-painted buildings covering the hillside are pretty distinctive. Wander around the souks where you can find local crafts and goods, then grab a seat at one of the cafes to relax and take in views over the town. Your accommodation is right in the medina, so you'll be surrounded by that local character and can explore the streets as it quiets down in the evening.

Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
After a slower morning in Chefchaouen, you'll head east to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, which have some impressive columns and mosaics scattered across the site. Then it's on to Meknes where you can see Bab El Mansour, one of the most ornate gates in Morocco, walk through the historic medina, and check out the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later you continue to Fes and settle into your accommodation in the old medina for the night.

Fes
You'll spend the whole day in Fes with a local guide who knows the medina inside and out. Start at the Royal Palace's golden doors, then go through Bab Boujloud into the UNESCO medina where the alleys wind around shops and workshops. You'll see the 14th-century Bou Inania Madrasa with its intricate wood and plaster work, visit the Najjarine Fountain, tour the Chouara Tanneries where leather gets dyed in traditional stone vats, and stop at Al Quaraouiyine, one of the oldest universities still operating. Before heading back to your accommodation, climb to Borj Nord fortress for views over the entire city.

Fes to Merzouga
Leaving Fes, you'll travel through Ifrane where you can stop to see wild Macaque monkeys in the cedar forest around town. After lunch in Midelt, you pass through the Ziz Valley with its palm groves creating a green corridor through the landscape. By afternoon you arrive in Merzouga and get on a camel to trek into Erg Chebbi for the sunset, then settle into your camp where dinner is a traditional Moroccan meal cooked over fire and you can listen to nomadic drum music under the stars.

Merzouga to Todra Gorge to Dades Valley
You'll wake early to see the sunrise across the dunes, then head into Rissani to explore its market and learn about the town's role in Moroccan history. After that, you travel to Todra Gorge where canyon walls rise about 300 meters on either side, creating this narrow dramatic passage through the rock. You arrive in Dades Valley by late afternoon and check into your accommodation with time to explore the valley a bit before dinner.

Dades Valley to Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech
After breakfast in Dades Valley, you make your way to Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village that's a UNESCO site and has been used as a filming location for various movies. The High Atlas Mountains are in front of you as you continue, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass where you get views across multiple valleys. By late afternoon you're back in Marrakech where this tour wraps up, giving you time to rest or explore the medina one more time before evening.
