- Day 1
Marrakech
You'll arrive in Marrakech and spend the day getting your bearings around Jemaa el Fna Square. The souks here are intense, filled with vendors selling everything from spices to leather goods, so give yourself time to wander through at your own pace. There are historic mosques and palaces scattered throughout the medina if you want to check those out earlier in the day. By late afternoon and evening, the square transforms, and you'll see musicians, storytellers, and food stalls setting up. Stick around to see it all come alive, grab something to eat from a vendor, and soak in the energy.

Marrakech to High Atlas Mountains (Amizmiz)
After about an hour's drive south, you'll reach Amizmiz in the High Atlas foothills. Start by walking through the local market to see what's happening there. Then your guide takes you hiking through remote mountain terrain, passing through Berber villages along the way. Around midday you'll stop at a local family's home for lunch and they'll show you how to make traditional bread. After eating, you keep going with more hiking, and by evening you'll settle in at a Berber home for the night with dinner included.

High Atlas Mountains (Amnougal Valley to Imi N'Tala)
Start with breakfast from your hosts, then head out for a hike through Amnougal valley on marked trails. You'll pass through villages and see how locals farm and live in these mountains. During lunch you'll sit in the mountain scenery with a picnic. Later you'll reach Imi N'Tala village where Fatima will greet you with mint tea and show you around. Then there's a cooking class where you learn to make bread and Tagine, the traditional slow-cooked stew. After dinner, you'll stay the night with a local family.

High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech
After breakfast at your guesthouse, you have a choice. If you want more hiking and village exploring, you can continue that. Otherwise, head back to Marrakech early to have more time in the city. Check into your accommodation and relax or walk around to get oriented. Later, check out the food scene here, trying cafés, restaurants, or grabbing street food around the square. There's good eating throughout the medina if you explore a bit.

Marrakech to Essaouira
You'll drive across rolling plains toward the coast, passing through a forest of Argan trees. If you're interested, you can stop at an Argan cooperative to see how they extract the oil, though it's optional. Then you arrive in Essaouira, a laid-back coastal town. Walk along the seawalls and through the Old Medina, then check out the fishing harbor where boats are constantly coming and going. For lunch, grab fresh seafood at one of the harborside restaurants or buy fish directly from vendors and have it prepared. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or exploring the town.

Essaouira to Marrakech
Take a relaxed morning in Essaouira with breakfast and time to wander the medina or sit by the coast if you want. Browse through shops and souks for things to take home. Later you'll drive back to Marrakech, passing through the same plains and Argan forests. Once you're back, spend the afternoon and evening however you like, checking out museums or galleries if you're interested, or having dinner at restaurants that locals recommend. You can also just walk around the city streets or head back to your hotel to rest.

Enjoy your final breakfast in Marrakech and take in the city one more time. Depending on when your flight leaves, you might have time for some last-minute sightseeing or shopping before heading to Menara airport. If your flight is early, you'll probably head straight there after breakfast.
