- Day 1
Madrid
You'll get transferred to your hotel where you can take time to settle in and get comfortable. Later in the afternoon, stop by the information desk at the hotel to check what's posted there about your tour details and what comes next.
- Day 2
Madrid to Oviedo
You'll head out early and drive through Castile and León, making a stop in Tordesillas along the way. From there, continue on to León to see the Gothic cathedral, then you'll cross over the Cantabrian Range into Asturias. In Oviedo, you get a 1.5-hour guided tour of the city that covers the 9th-century cathedral, Congress Palace, Campoamor Theatre, and Calle Rúa. That evening, you'll have a traditional Asturian dinner at a cider house.

Oviedo to Santander
You're heading to Picos de Europa, starting with a visit to the Basilica of Covadonga. After that, you'll follow the coast to Santillana, which has one of Spain's best-preserved medieval quarters. The Altamira Cave Museum is on your schedule, and tickets are already included. Later you'll reach Santander where you get a panoramic guided tour of this elegant coastal city and its bay.

Santander to Zaragoza
You'll travel along the Cantabrian coast, moving through landscapes with mountains and sea views heading toward Bilbao. There you get a guided city tour covering the Guggenheim, the old quarter, and the Cathedral. You'll have some free time to try authentic pintxos around the city. After that, you'll head into La Rioja wine country and visit the Wine Culture Museum in Briones, arriving in Zaragoza by evening.

Zaragoza to Barcelona
Start in the morning with a panoramic tour of Zaragoza led by a local guide. After lunch, you're off to Catalonia to visit Poblet Abbey, one of Europe's best-preserved medieval monasteries (tickets included). You'll arrive in Barcelona later in the evening.
