Arrival

Paris - Versailles - Montmartre
Head to the Palace of Versailles and walk through its gardens, then move on to Montmartre to see the bohemian neighborhood with its artists and cabarets. A local guide takes you on a panoramic tour showing Paris's famous avenues and iconic monuments. There's an optional variety show in the evening if you're interested.

- Day 3
Paris - Eiffel Tower - Seine River
Start at the Eiffel Tower where you'll get access to the second floor. Later you'll take a boat cruise along the Seine for about one hour and fifteen minutes. After that, the afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your own pace.

- Day 4
Paris to Lyon - Beaune - Burgundy Region
Travel through Bourgogne's vineyard region and stop in Beaune, a charming town with flower-filled streets, a hospice, and wine museum. From there, you'll head to Lyon to take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for city views. Some guests stay in Chambéry instead with a medieval city visit the next morning.

- Day 5
Lyon to Zurich - Geneva - Swiss Lakes
Cross into Switzerland through Geneva where you'll see the Palace of Nations and walk in the English Garden with its famous flower clock and Jet d'Eau fountain. The drive continues along scenic routes past Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel with vineyard views backed by mountains. Stop in Neuchâtel to walk around, explore the historic center, or visit the castle. You'll arrive in Zurich in the late afternoon.

Zurich - Lake Zurich - Rapperswil
Explore Zurich with a guide who'll share details about Switzerland's financial and cultural center. Later take a scenic nearly two-hour cruise on Lake Zurich with brief stops at charming villages, then disembark in Rapperswil to see the medieval castle. Return to Zurich by train to experience Swiss rail travel.

- Day 8
Zurich to Milan - Bellinzona - Como
Leave Zurich early and cross the Alps into the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Stop in Bellinzona to see its three UNESCO World Heritage medieval castles on hills above the city and explore the charming town center. Continue to Como on Lake Como, known for its lakeside gardens and cathedral. Arrive in Milan for a guided tour of Piazza del Duomo before heading to your hotel.

- Day 9
Milan to Rome - Pisa
Travel to Pisa and ride a small tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli to see one of Italy's beautiful art complexes including the famous Leaning Tower. From there you'll head to Rome, arriving later in the day.

- Day 10
Rome
Begin with a three-hour guided tour combining a walking tour through Imperial Rome and a panoramic bus ride showing the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour ends at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. You can optionally visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. In the evening you'll transfer to Trastevere for dinner, returning to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.

Rome to Florence - Piazzale Michelangelo
Leave Rome and head north through beautiful landscapes toward Florence. Go to Piazzale Michelangelo for city views, then walk toward the historic center for a guided walking tour visiting Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own with plenty of dinner options throughout the city.

Salzburg - St. Wolfgang - Traunsee Lake - Vienna
