Madrid

By evening, you arrive in Chambery, a medieval capital of Savoy with a castle and historic center.

Today brings mountain scenery as you ride a cable car up to Glacier 3000, one of Switzerland's top spots with year-round ice and snow. You can walk a suspended bridge between peaks, explore the Ice Cathedral, or try the Fun Park. Later, you'll stop in Interlaken for lunch before driving to Lucerne, then arriving in Zurich by evening with time to walk around the center.

Rome
This morning brings a three-hour guided tour combining a walking tour through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride.
