Itinerary
- Day 1
Cuiabá to Pocone
You'll arrive at Marechal Rondon International Airport and drive to Pocone, then take the Transpantaneira highway toward UeSo Pousada – Estancia Vitória. Wildlife starts showing up right away on this route, so keep an eye out for caimans, capybaras, and jabirus. After you check in, there's time for a meal and to settle in. Later in the evening, head out on a night search for nocturnal animals, bringing a flashlight or headlamp to spot them.

Pocone
The day starts early at 5:00 AM with a guided walk through the Pantanal before breakfast. Back at the lodge, you'll have coffee at a relaxed pace, then saddle up for a horseback ride through the landscape (no experience needed). After returning for lunch, take a boat trip on Rio Novo or Rio Claro looking for ariranhas, tapirs, and other creatures. An optional night walk is available if you want to continue exploring after dark.

Pocone to Porto Jofre
Coffee comes first, before sunrise, then you're driving 107 km along the Transpantaneira to Porto Jofre at the road's end. The route shows hundreds of caimans, capybaras, and birds. A picnic breakfast happens at a stop along the way. From Porto Jofre, you'll spend 5 hours on the water going through the Cuiaba, Sao Lourenco, Tres Irmaos, and Piquiri rivers searching for jaguars and other wildlife. Lunch is eaten on a riverbank beach before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

Pocone to Cuiabá
Start with breakfast at UeSo Pousada – Estancia Vitória. If your flight time allows, you can fit in either a final horseback ride or a walk through the Pantanal. Then you'll head back to Marechal Rondon International Airport for your departure.
