Itinerary
- Day 1
Rovaniemi
You'll land at Rovaniemi Airport and get a private transfer to your hotel. Once you've checked in and settled into your room, the evening is completely open. If your flight gets in early enough, there's an option to book something that night, but otherwise just relax and adjust to being in Lapland.

Rovaniemi
After grabbing breakfast at the hotel, you're heading out at 09:15 for a husky safari that runs about two and a half hours. You'll get hands-on experience at a husky kennel, actually driving your own sled dog team through the snow while trading off between being the musher and riding along. Once you're back at the kennel, you'll warm up by an open fire with hot berry juice and talk with the musher about the dogs. The afternoon and evening are yours to do whatever you'd like around Rovaniemi.

Rovaniemi
This is a day with no scheduled activities, so you can structure it however you want. Stay at the hotel and take it easy, wander through Rovaniemi on foot, or sign up for one of several optional activities like a reindeer safari, snowmobile adventure, ice fishing, snowshoeing, or hunting for the Northern Lights. It really depends on what appeals to you most.

Rovaniemi
A private transfer takes you to Santa Claus Village, where you'll visit Santa himself in his office and soak in the Christmas atmosphere (open all year, which is pretty fun). While there, you cross the Arctic Circle, the actual latitude line where daylight and darkness flip for 24 hours depending on the season. The village has plenty to do with winter activities, places to eat, and shops scattered around. By afternoon, your driver picks you up and brings you back to the hotel.
