Unfortunately though, we were put with a French tour group even though we though we were booking an English speaking tour, and we weren't told about this prior to meeting the group. So day 2 meeting in the lobby for the first time and seeing a whole group that couldn't speak English was very confusing for us. Our tour guide Alain was amazing, so friendly and helpful, and once he knew we spoke English, he would translate for us and tell the other operators to speak to us in English. But it was still disappointing as we were unable to mix with the group and make friends as we weren't able to communicate to each other. Also after being there, I feel that catching buses and organising your own activities probably would have been the cheaper option. Unfortunately we do not have reservations on 23rd Dec. We will need to quote based on rates from hotel and suppliers if there is availability. Our 22nd December departure is almost full in case you want to change your arrival date and then add some extra nights.

We do have availability on our 22nd of December Rovaniemi Winter Experience which you could extend by starting from Stockholm on 18th December with 1 overnight, then take the overnight mini cruise to Helsinki 19th, stay 1 night in Helsinki 20th and then the Santa Express overnight train on 21st December to Rovaniemi for 4 nights in Lapland. Or our Arctic Explorer tour in Swedish Lapland at 20th August. You can fly to Luleå or travel by train even from Oslo with a stop in Stockholm.

we can help you arrange a tour. you would like to go to Finnish Lapland - close to Santa Village. you can see the Northern Lights, participate on husky safari, reindeer safari, snowmobile safari, snowshoeing, ice fishing, stay at a glass igloo. There are no natural thermal pools in this area. I recommend booking a traditional Finnish sauna session. If you are looking for thermal pools and ice caves, then Iceland is your perfect destination.

Our tailor made department for Individual travelers is overwhelmed with requests and I don't think they can prepare something for you in short notice.
