Asked on February 21st, 2025How much walking is involved in the tour, as she has a mobility issue and may not be able to walk long distances? Could you confirm if assistance with carrying luggage to and from the hotel room is available?
AAT KingsOperator•Written February 2025A medium level of fitness is required. Most walks are on boardwalks however there is the opportunity to walk on the beach at Seal Bay and the sealed path down is quite steep in places. Guests will also have the opportunity to walk over the Remarkable Rocks so surfaces can be slippery and uneven. For guests wanting to walk down to Admirals Arch, there are 71 steps at the end to view the arch. Other less active options are also available that your Tour Director will advise. Please note that there are stairs to climb in/out of the coach. The Travel Director and Driver and unable to assist with helping guests in/out of the coach, and it is recommended that guests with lower mobility bring a travel partner that is able to assist them. Portage for 1 bag is included in the tour.
