Arrival in Yerevan
You'll touch down at Zvartnots airport where a local guide will be waiting to meet you. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel so you can settle in and get some rest after your flight.

- Day 2
Yerevan City Tour
After breakfast, you'll walk through Yerevan's central squares and key buildings like Republic Square, the Opera House, and the Mother of Armenia statue in Victory Park. The cascades offer panoramic views across the city, and you'll also visit the Cafesjian Center For Arts. Later, head to Tsitsernakaberd memorial which honors victims of the Armenian genocide of 1915. The day wraps up with a guided brandy factory tour and tasting at Ararat.

- Day 3
Zvartnots - Central Market
Drive out to Etchmiadzin after breakfast, the religious heart of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The main cathedral here is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 301 when Armenia adopted Christianity as its official religion. On the way there and back, you'll see two other UNESCO churches: St. Hripsime and St. Gajane. Then stop at the 7th-century ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral where Mount Ararat sits in the distance. End with time to wander the colorful central market browsing fresh fruits, nuts, and spices.

Areni - Noravank
After breakfast, head through the Ararat Valley to Khor Virap Monastery near the Turkish border, a significant 4th-century religious site where Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned in a dungeon. Then move into the Areni wine region to check out a cave containing discoveries of the world's oldest shoe and wine press. Further south in Amaghu gorge sits 13th-century Noravank monastery backed by red rock formations, where you might spot Bezoar goats. The day finishes with wine tasting at a local winery.

Dilijan - Hagartsin Monastery - Haghpat
Head to Lake Sevan right after breakfast, a high mountain lake positioned about 2,000 m above sea level. A half-hour boat trip is available if you're interested (separate cost). From there, continue to Dilijan, a resort town surrounded by lush forest with a charming old section and outdoor activities. You'll visit Hagartsin Monastery, built between the 10th and 13th centuries within forest surroundings. Travel through Lori's green landscape and spend the night in Haghpat.

Sanahin - Odzun - Gyumri
After breakfast, visit the UNESCO monastery complexes at Haghpat and Sanahin, situated in the Lori hills and representing exceptional medieval Armenian architecture with distinctive cross-stones and frescoes. Continue to Odzun Cathedral, which dates to the 5th-7th centuries and stands as one of Armenia's most important early Christian structures featuring beautiful reliefs and unique stone monuments. The tour concludes in Gyumri.

Saghmosavank
Explore Gyumri after breakfast, Armenia's second largest city and a cultural hub known for historical architecture blending traditional Armenian, Russian, and European influences. Walk through the preserved old town with its winding streets and notable locations like Vardanants Square, the Cathedral of the Holy Savior, and the Dzitoghtsyan Museum. Then return toward Yerevan with a stop in Aragatsotn to see the 13th-century Saghmosavank Monastery positioned above the Kazakh River gorge.

Garni - Vernissage
Drive for about 40 minutes to reach Geghard rock monastery at the end of the Azat Gorge, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On Sundays and holidays, sacred music performances fill the space with incredible acoustics. Nearby stands the Hellenistic temple of Garni on a high pedestal above the gorge, surrounded by hexagonal basalt columns up to 300 m tall that resemble organ pipes. Spend your afternoon wandering through Vernissage, an open-air market for Armenian handicrafts.
