- Steven· April 30th, 2025This was amazing trip which covered all the main points a first time visitor would/should wand to see. The itinerary was a great mix of structure and free time. Daan provided a great service as tour leader. Sufficient knowledge about the area, not all the dry book stuff and we got a chance to see the real Japan as a result. The organisation was unmatched, Daan got a significant sized group from point to point without fuss. Things went wrong like trains cancelled which is natural but plan B was put in place at no detriment to us. So if you want a grown up tour with an ability to do your own thing click on this one. If you want to follow a flag pole for 14 days well you will miss out.Show more

This tour is good for those who want a taste of everything without doing a deep dive. You kind of have to plan your own activities because it feels like you’re sort of just dropped off without being guided. The hostels / accommodation weren’t great but not bad for what we paid. Breakfasts provided were bland, literally just toast at one place. Overall not bad but you gotta make the most of it on your ownShow more
