You'll arrive in Calgary this afternoon. Your tour director will be on hand later to answer questions and help you get settled into your accommodations.
- Day 2
Calgary
Dress up in cowboy gear and head to the Calgary Stampede with admission included. Walk through Stampede Park to check out Canadian First Nations culture at Elbow River Camp, catch entertainment on various stages, and see Western art exhibits. Later, the Chuckwagon Races deliver plenty of action, followed by an outdoor musical variety show to wrap up the evening.

Calgary
Start the day with a pancake breakfast at Fluor Rope Square before heading back to Stampede grounds to watch rodeo action. Spend the afternoon at the Grandstand for the Calgary Stampede Rodeo with professionals competing in bull riding and other events. Walk around and take in square dancing, mock gun fights, country bands, and local food throughout the festive grounds.

Calgary to Banff
An included city tour takes you through Calgary's downtown, Fort Calgary, Stampede Park, the Saddledome, and Canada Olympic Park. After that, you'll head west into the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park for a two-night stay with an orientation tour when you arrive.

Banff
You'll have the day to explore Banff, one of Canada's favorite year-round resorts. Summer activities include hiking, boating, horseback riding, and fishing. Your tour director can point out different ways to spend your time based on what interests you.

Banff to Jasper
Drive north through the Canadian Rockies, passing through gorges and viewing snowcapped ranges with turquoise and green lakes. Stop at Lake Louise to see the water's reflection of surrounding mountains and glaciers. Then head to the Columbia Icefield for an included ride on the Ice Explorer across 750-foot-thick ice. By evening you'll reach Jasper for an orientation tour.

Jasper
This is your free day in Jasper to move at your own pace. The area has guided hikes available, shops to browse, and chances to spot wildlife while walking through this mountain resort town.

Jasper to Prince George
Leave Jasper and follow the Fraser River toward Mount Robson, the highest peak in Canada's Rockies at almost 13,000 feet. Continue south to Prince George, the province's northern capital, where you'll stay overnight.

Prince George to Prince Rupert
Board VIA Rail's Skeena train for an all-day journey through the Coast Mountains and along the Skeena River, known as the River of Mists. You'll follow old First Nations trading routes and fur trader paths while watching for bald eagles, black bears, moose, and other wildlife. Arrive in Prince Rupert for a two-night stay.

Prince Rupert
An orientation tour shows you around Prince Rupert. Then you'll visit the North Pacific Historic Fishing Village, a National Historic Site, for a guided tour of British Columbia's oldest cannery village. Learn about the canning process and how people lived during peak production. The afternoon is free to explore on your own.

Prince Rupert to Port Hardy
Early this morning you'll board a ship for the Inside Passage, one of the world's most beautiful ocean voyages. See towering mountains, waterfalls, countless islands, and rainforests while watching for sea lions, porpoises, and possibly killer whales. You'll arrive in Port Hardy late evening.

Port Hardy to Victoria
Leave Port Hardy early and travel south along Vancouver Island's eastern coast. Pass through Campbell River, stop in Chemainus to see its collection of more than 30 murals depicting pioneer settlement, then continue to Victoria, arriving late afternoon.

Victoria
Morning sightseeing covers the Inner Harbour, Bastion Square, and Thunderbird Park with its unusual totem pole collection. The rest of the day is yours to explore. You could have high tea at the Empress Hotel, visit the Royal British Columbia Museum, or take an optional trip to Butchart Gardens. Later, take a relaxing walk along the Waterfront Promenade.

It's also a great spot to learn about Native Alaskan culture of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian nations.
