Itinerary
- Day 1
Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll arrive at Keflavik airport and catch a shuttle bus to your Reykjavik hotel. If check-in timing works out, there's time to wander around Iceland's capital on your own and get oriented with the city.

- Keflavik International Airport / Keflavíkurflugvöllur (KEF), Keflavíkurflugvelli, Sandgerði, Southern Peninsula Region 235, Iceland (Flybus PLUS shuttle transfer from Keflavík International Airport to your accomodation in Reykjavík. The Flybus departs from Keflavík Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight arrival. )

- Day 2
Reykjanes Peninsula - Hella
Meeting your guide at 9:00 am, you'll start with Reykjavik's main sights before heading to Reykjanes Peninsula. You'll see hot springs, bird cliffs, and old fishing villages, then relax in the Blue Lagoon before traveling to Hella. Later that evening, your guide gives a Northern Lights presentation to prepare you for aurora hunting.

Seljalandsfoss - Skógafoss - Reynisfjara Beach
You're heading down Iceland's South Coast toward Eyjafjallajökull volcano area. Walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall (65 meters), then check out Skógar Folk Museum with its traditional turf houses and historic items before visiting Skógafoss waterfall (62 meters). Those on the optional glacier hike go to Sólheimajökull, others continue to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. Evening brings a Northern Lights presentation at your hotel.

Geysir - Gullfoss - Þingvellir National Park
Start at Icelandic horse stables learning about these special horses, then visit a geothermal greenhouse to see how natural energy grows fresh produce. You'll follow the Golden Circle route through Geysir's hot springs and geysers, then see Gullfoss waterfall dropping into its canyon. Finish at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO site where you'll learn about the tectonic rift and Iceland's ancient Viking Parliament.

Reykjavik
The day is yours to explore Reykjavik however you like. Walk the main shopping street, check out museums, or settle into one of the city's cozy cafés.

Grábrók - Búðardalur - Ísafjörður
You'll leave early for Grábrók, a 3,400-year-old volcanic crater with great views from the top. After lunch in the coastal town of Búðardalur, you travel through Ísafjarðardjúp fjords where whale spotting is possible. Visit Litibær, a restored turf house now a café and museum, before arriving in Ísafjörður for a three-night stay. As evening comes, prepare for Northern Lights hunting.

- Day 7
Öundarfjörður - Ísafjörður
Visit Dynjandi waterfall with its tiered cascade flowing into the fjord. Travel along the coast to Öundarfjörður pier overlooking a golden beach and mountains. After a nature walk and meal, you'll stroll through Ísafjörður with its colorful houses and cobblestone streets. Evening means another chance to hunt for the Northern Lights.

Flateyri - Ísafjörður
Begin at Ósvor Maritime Museum, a restored 19th-century fishing hut showing what Icelandic fishermen's lives were like. Head to the village of Flateyri and visit Gamla bókabúðin (The Old Bookstore) running since 1914, great for unique souvenirs and traditional craftsmanship. You'll explore Flateyri's history and see the avalanche protection fences. Evening brings a stroll under the Arctic sky looking for Northern Lights.

Then head to Vogur Country Lodge in West Iceland, positioned well for Northern Lights hunting. Keep watch for the Aurora Borealis dancing across the sky.

Reykjavik
Visit the Settlement Center in Borgarnes to step back through exhibitions exploring Iceland's early settlement era. Continue to Reykjavik and check out the capital's history and landmarks including Hallgrímskirkja church, the University, and the harbour with fishing boats. Stop by Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre on the waterfront. End your trip tasting Iceland's fermented shark and Brennivín.
