Itinerary
- Day 1
Frankfurt/Munich to Singapore
You'll depart on a non-stop flight from Frankfurt or Munich heading to Singapore. This is a long journey, so settle in for the flight and try to rest up before you arrive.
- Day 2
Singapore
After landing in Singapore this morning, your tour guide will meet you at the airport. You'll get an orientation tour of the city, walking through Chinatown and Little India to get a feel for things. By afternoon, you'll check into your hotel near Singapore River in the city center.

- Day 3
Singapore
Following breakfast, you'll head to Mount Faber and take the cable car over to Sentosa Island. You can spend time here at your own pace, checking out museums, the butterfly and insect park, and a marine aquarium. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit the UNESCO orchid garden before heading back to the hotel.

Singapore
You'll start with breakfast and then go up to the roof viewing platform of Marina Bay Sands, which sits over 200 metres up and gives you panoramic views of the whole city. Gardens by the Bay is available if you want to visit (there's an entrance fee). In the afternoon, you'll take a boat trip on the Singapore River, and then have dinner at a traditional riverside spot with fresh seafood.

Singapore to Malacca
This morning you'll travel to the Malaysia border and handle the entry and exit paperwork with your Malaysian guide. From there, you'll drive via the north-south highway to Malacca, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During a city tour, you'll see the Dutch quarter and Portuguese and Dutch fortress remains. You'll check in to your city center hotel in the late afternoon and take an evening stroll along the Malacca River.

Malacca to Kuala Lumpur
You'll travel to Kuala Lumpur with a stop in Putrajaya. This planned city was built in 1995 and has spacious gardens, government buildings, and a mosque with the second highest minaret in Southeast Asia. After that, you'll head to Kuala Lumpur and check into your central hotel. You'll have free time to explore the city on your own.

- Day 7
Kuala Lumpur
You'll visit Batu Caves, one of Malaysia's most important sites and a major Hindu shrine. You'll climb over 280 steps past a 40-metre gilded statue to reach the Hindu shrines inside. Then you'll explore Kuala Lumpur, visiting the Royal Selangor pewter factory with a museum tour, colonial buildings, and the Petronas Towers where you can get views from the 86th floor or the Skybridge. Dinner happens at a restaurant in the basement mall.

Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara National Park
You'll spend several hours traveling by coach and then by long boat on the Tembeling River to reach Kuala Tahan, which is the main gateway to Taman Negara National Park. You'll check into the Mutiara Taman Negara Resort for a 2-night stay in one of the world's oldest rainforests, over 130 million years old.

- Day 9
Taman Negara National Park
The highlight is the Canopy Walk, a treetop path through jungle canopy that's considered one of the highest and most beautiful in the world. The 400-metre suspension bridge system lets you see wildlife and learn about the rainforest. You'll also hike nature trails up Bukit Teresik hill for views toward Gunung Tahan mountain. Later you'll have free time to explore on your own.

Taman Negara to Cameron Highlands
You'll drive out of the rainforest into the Cameron Highlands, a green mountain and valley area known for tea, vegetables, and strawberries. You'll check into the Strawberry Park Resort and enjoy the cool mountain climate. There's a hot-pot dinner waiting for you in the evening.

- Day 11
Cameron Highlands to Penang
In the morning, you'll see tea plantations and learn about the region's agricultural importance. You'll visit Kellie's Castle, an impressive ruin in a rubber plantation. After lunch in Ipoh with time for a city stroll, you'll cross Asia's third longest bridge (13.5 kilometres) to Penang island. You'll check into the Bayview Hotel in Georgetown with free time to explore and find dinner.

- Day 12
Georgetown, Penang
You'll follow traditional craft routes and explore Georgetown's colonial heritage from when it was one of the most important 'Strait Settlements' controlling trade for over 120 years. In the afternoon, you'll take a rickshaw ride through Georgetown to see 18th-century Fort Cornwallis, Chinese clan houses with ornaments and carvings, and the historic Chew Jetty. You'll have free time back at the hotel to explore more.

You'll visit Kek-Lok-sie Temple in the morning, one of Malaysia's largest Buddhist temples with prayer halls, courtyards, temple towers, and statues up to 30 metres high plus a seven-storey pagoda. You'll have free time in the afternoon before transferring to Penang Airport for your flight back to Germany via Singapore.
