- Day 1
Arrival in Tel Aviv
You'll land in Tel Aviv with the rest of your evening free. Take the time to wander around the city if you're feeling up for it, or head back to the hostel and meet other travelers. Airport transfer can be arranged if you want it, though there is an extra charge for pickup.

Nazareth
This morning you're heading north to the Sea of Galilee, Israel's largest freshwater lake. First stop is Capernaum, which sits at the base of Mount of Beatitudes. From there you'll check out the Church of Multiplication in Taghba for some really nice views out over the water. After that you'll swing by Yardenit on the Jordan River to see the baptism site, then finish the day in Nazareth, the largest Arab city in Israel, walking through the old town area.

Akko - Haifa
You'll start in Caesarea checking out the remains of a 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheater and hippodrome. Then it's on to Akko, a Crusader city and UNESCO World Heritage Site with plenty of history packed into its streets. By the afternoon you're heading to Haifa to see the hanging Bahai Gardens and the Stella Maris Monastery.

Jericho
A local guide meets you in Bethlehem to tour the Church of Nativity and the birthplace of Jesus. You'll also see the famous Banksy hotel while you're there. After lunch you head to Jericho for a guided tour, then take the cable car up Mount of Temptation. Before wrapping up, you'll visit the Qasr Al Yahud baptismal site on the Jordan River.

Jerusalem Old City
Today is all about Jerusalem's Old City and its four quarters. Start at the Western Wall in the Jewish Quarter, then walk the Via Dolorosa through the Christian Quarter and visit the Holy Sepulchre. You'll wander through the souq markets in the Muslim Quarter after that. Later, you'll check out modern Jerusalem by walking through Tzahal Square, the Municipality complex, Jaffa Street, Davidka Square, and Nachlaot. Wrap things up at Machane Yehuda Market where the energy and food scene are really worth experiencing.

Ein Gedi - Dead Sea
You'll arrive at Masada early and take the cable car up to see King Herod's palace and the fortified site. A guide walks you through the history and significance of this location. After that you're heading to Ein Gedi nature reserve, a desert oasis where you can float in the Dead Sea and try the mud at the lowest point on Earth. There's free time during lunch before you head out.

Aqaba - Wadi Rum
Leave the hotel early and drive toward the Israel-Jordan border. With help from your group, you'll cross over and continue to Aqaba. Spend the afternoon exploring the city or relaxing at a private beach and pool on the Red Sea. Then you're on to Wadi Rum and checking into a Bedouin camp for the night. Optional camel rides and hiking are available if you want them, and you'll experience a Jeep safari through the desert with a Bedouin guide. Dinner is authentic Jordanian food at the camp.

Petra - Return to Israel
If you're interested, there's optional early morning hiking at sunrise or a hot air balloon ride (weather and local conditions permitting). Breakfast happens at the camp, then you're journeying to Petra for a guided tour of this ancient 'lost city' and one of the Seven Wonders. You'll visit the Siq, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Treasury, Jabal Madbach, Mountaintop Tombs, and the Theater. After exploring, you'll cross back into Israel heading toward Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, which takes about 4 hours.
