- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo and meet your guide along with other travelers. After transferring to your hotel, there's time to freshen up before heading to the lobby around 6:00pm for a welcome meeting. The rest of the evening is yours to either walk around Cairo's lively streets or join an optional group dinner cruise on the Nile.

Cairo
Breakfast comes early before you head out to see the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx with your guide learning about these 4,600-year-old structures. From there, you'll go to the Egyptian Museum of Cairo to see over 120,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts. You'll be back at your hotel by evening.

Cairo to Aswan
After flying to Aswan, a local guide takes you through the city starting with the Unfinished Obelisk and its ancient building techniques. Next you'll see Philae Temple dedicated to Isis on an island in the Nile. Later in the day you board your 5-star Nile Cruiser and check into your cabin for three nights. There's an optional traditional Nubian dinner available in the evening.

Aswan
Early risers can depart at 04:45 for an optional trip to Abu Simbel, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The rest of the day is free to explore Aswan and wander along the banks of the Nile at your own pace.

Aswan
Spend the day relaxing on the Nile Cruiser while taking in the river breeze. You'll have time to wander around Aswan or simply enjoy the peaceful water and scenery at your own pace.

Aswan to Luxor
The coach heads north toward Kom Ombo where you'll visit the temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Continuing on, you'll see one of Egypt's largest and best-preserved temples at Edfu, built for the falcon god Horus. By late afternoon you reach Luxor and visit Luxor Temple in the evening. Your guide then takes you through the vast Karnak Temple Complex, sharing stories about this important religious center from ancient Egypt.

Luxor
Start with an optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor for views of the landscape below. Then follow your guide into the Valley of the Kings to explore royal tombs carved into desert rocks. You'll also see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, head to the airport for your flight back to Cairo.

Cairo to Dahab
After breakfast you'll transfer to the airport and fly to Sharm El-Sheikh, then continue to Dahab on the Red Sea. Pack your swimsuit because you're ready to spend time swimming, snorkeling, diving, and sunbathing to recover from a week of cultural exploration.

Dahab
Check out the Dahab area and optionally join a snorkeling trip to the famous Blue Hole where you can swim among colorful fish and see the coral reefs. Dahab is known as one of the region's best diving spots for all levels. When you return, there's time for camel trekking or other water sports.

Dahab to Mt. Sinai
The day is free for relaxing by the sea with water sports or other activities if you want them. At 22:30 in the evening, you'll depart for St. Catherine and start climbing Mt. Sinai to catch the sunrise, which bathes the surrounding peaks in gold and offers one of Egypt's best views.

Mt. Sinai to Dahab
