- HEH· June 18th, 2025We took a 9 days trip from Marrakesh to Fes, through Ourzazat and Merzuga desert. Our driver was Mokhtar. We had wonderful time. mokhtar is a very skilled and friendly driver, knowing a lot about every region of Moroco. He knows good photo spots as well. The hotel we stayed in Ourzazat was boutique and very relaxing. The second night we stayed in a luxury camp at the desert, which was above the expectations. A great experience to see a lot of Morocco in relatively short time - I highly recommend Top Desert Tours and Mohamed! Such a variety of experiences and learnt a lot about the country, culture, landscapes, people. Thank you Mokhtar!Show more

As with my trips to India, I was not disappointed. With Smail, we had a friendly, safe driver who looked after us the whole trip and also gave us an insight into his life. We were more than satisfied with the selected riads and the desert camp and we were treated in a friendly and warm manner everywhere. However, we would particularly like to emphasize the dinner and the stay at Dar Rihana Dades. The cuisine on offer here was almost at fine dining level. Not only the taste buds but also the eyes got their money's worth. In these nine days we got an insight into modern Morocco (Casablanca and Rabat) in oriental medinas (Marrakech, Chefchouen and Fez), visited Roman ruins with magnificent misaics (Volibilis) and we got to see the different landscapes of Morocco. The only downside was the wrong time of year. We were lucky enough to land him as our Guide-driver for a full five day tour and had the most incredible time. The accommodations were amazing, the food delicious, and the sights 100% worth seeing, however, I truly believe it is the people that stay with you forever. Sharing stories and drinks around the dinner table, or always being on the look out for the next coffee stop, our driver made this entire experience one I’ll never forget.
