- Paula· October 23rd, 2025This tour really blew me away. I don't know why, but I was not expecting the scale and beauty of the Atlas mountains and the surrounding area to be so breathtaking. I loved being surrounded by the towering mountains and gorges. It was like the Grand Canyon and Petra mixed together. We covered a great deal of territory, from the Sahara desert, to the mountainous forests. We travelled through big cities like Fez, Rabat, Chef Chamoun, Tangiers , Casablanca and Marrakesh and spent time outside the cities driving through beautiful countryside. We were a very small group of just 3, so it was quite easy to be flexible and meet everyone's needs. Our driver Zacarias, was a champion. He drove through all sorts of terrain and always got us where were needed to go on time. I am hesitate about booking tours, especially having the possibility of having it be a group tour, but everything was handled upon arrival, and all we had to do was enjoy our experience. Thankfully no one else booked our dates, so it ended up being a private tour, YAY! Abbess was our guide, and he was the best guide we could have asked for. He helped us communicate with the locals, pointed us in the best direction for views, shopping and food. He even worked with our schedule when needing to push some of the timing back. My only feedback would be providing a list of what the additional costs would look like. Morocco heavily uses cash and it was hard to plan on how much to pull out of our account. Some of the extras, were not our taste and we would have asked to skip those experiences and spend our money elsewhere if it was provided ahead time. Also, the 9 day tour was not truly 9 days. The first day, we got transported to our Riad in Marrakech and that was it. We didn’t meet up with our guide until the following day (day 2). When we arrived at the airport in Marrakech, the authorities wanted to know which hotel we were staying in. We didn't have this information in advance. We were picked up by a driver, taken to a riad and spent the first night there. The next day we met our driver Hamid. He picked us up in a 4x4 Toyota. He made the trip very special. He answered all our questions, showed us the tourist attractions, took us to remote places and always gave us good advice. Will the tour be beginning at the Riad Dar Soukaina? If that is the case and my friend and I would like to stay there on the 1st June should we contact the Riad directly or can we go through your travel agency?

If you do prefer to come on June 1st, we can certainly assist you in booking an extra night at Riad Dar Soukaina (subject to availability), or you may also contact the riad directly if you wish.

And if we stay for a day or 2 at the end or before the tour do you also provide transport to the airport free of charge? Will this tour be also in French? I will be arriving from another trip.. so I'll have a 23kg suitcase and an onboard small suitcase around 10kg.. any problem to fit on the bus/minibus?

Extra Nights: If you wish to arrive earlier or stay longer after the tour, we can arrange the extra hotel nights for you, and your airport transfers will still be included at no additional cost. Language: The tour can be conducted in French — please let us know your preference when booking. Luggage: A 23 kg suitcase plus a 10 kg cabin bag is absolutely fine and will fit comfortably in the minibus.
