Islamabad to Shogran Valley
You'll drive from Islamabad to Shogran Valley, taking in the scenic route through the foothills. Along the way, stop in Balakot where you can catch views of the Kunhar River flowing below and grab a break to stretch your legs. When you arrive at Shogran, settle into your accommodation and then take a gentle walk around Shogran Meadows to get oriented. Dinner at your hotel serves up local cuisine, a nice way to experience the regional flavors after your journey.

Shogran Valley
After breakfast, head out on a jeep safari to Siri Paye, driving through thick pine forests that cover the hillsides. The meadows open up with panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks stretching across the horizon. You'll return to Shogran in the afternoon where there's time to walk through the local bazaar and pick up some souvenirs and crafts. Back at your hotel, you can unwind before having dinner.

As you near Islamabad, if you're interested, swing by Daman-e-Koh for panoramic views of the city before heading home. This wraps up your time in Shogran Valley.
