In Beijing it was quite very short was we have seen ; it was the whole day the Forbidden City and what you can see from outside . The site is very crowded and it is very difficult to see everything at a normal pace as most of the time we were rushed through. Exhibitions that were presented in the venues weee skipped . The Mao Mausoleum was also not part of the tour Besides this nothing else from Beijing The Great Wall as a very nice experience Loyang was very nice and the Terakotta warriors as well Unfortunately we were to some „selling places“ were in my opinion we spent too much time and the staff was behind you pushing for purchases. The main tour guide Kevin was amazing. He did a great job and was always helpful and gave us a lot of information Kelly our tourguide in Luoyang was amazing too and such a lovely and smiling person Cristina in Xi‘An was Bit hard to understand and she was overwhelming us with too much historical information Rooney in Shanghai was so friendly and helpful and made our day in the city a great experience Thank you to all guides for the job done , presenting us China as a very great country!Show more

The tour guide set the tone from the beginning and the group picked up on her friendly, interactive manner. Having two overnight trains was difficult, the first one was an exciting experience but the second was less enjoyable by far. If possible I do recommend getting rid of one of them. - JGJan· June 25th, 2019Itinerary was minimal compared to other operators. Key opportunities missed on favor of commission based trips to Factories eg. Jade factory in Beijing (summer palace and temple of heaven not included!!). Suhzho Pagoda misuser .Shaghai itinerary also lacked content. Plus Hotels In all 3 cities located in Suburbs and worst no Metro stations anywhere near! ( (1-2 km walk min) . Totally inappropriate locations for non Chinese speaking tourists. Matthew was incredible, and after a few days with him we went on to the next part of the trip where we met Andrew, we were worried Andrew woudl not be as welcoming and professional and friendly as Mathew - but he was as confident, well versed and delightful. Next came Faye who was also as good. Matthew stayed with us from the beginning to the end. What a respectful and kind charector - we were a roudy bunch and he handled us all so well. He went the extra mile on several ocassions - someone left and I pad at a venue, another left clothes at the last hotel - he went out of his way to make sure all items got back to their owners.
