Santiago to Easter Island
An early morning flight gets you to Easter Island, where you're greeted with flower necklaces and a traditional welcome drink. That afternoon, head to Ahu Tahai to catch the sunset and see the iconic moai statues up close. You'll walk from Hanga Roa Town, pass the oldest graveyard, and then check out local restaurants and bars for dinner.

Easter Island
The afternoon takes you through three significant archaeological sites. Ana te Pahu involves a 20-minute trek to an underground cave with freshwater spring. Then you'll see Aku Akivi, which has seven restored moai statues from around the 15th century with astronomical significance. Finally, head to Puna Pau quarry (15 kilometers northeast) where craftspeople carved pukaos, the hat-like crowns placed on moai. You'll return to your hotel with a deeper understanding of Rapanui history.

- Day 4
Easter Island
This full day covers the island's most important archaeological sites. Start at Ahu Vaihu, an unrestored ceremonial site on the south coast, then move to Tongariki where 15 standing moai remain the largest assembly still upright. After that, you'll see Rano Raraku quarry where around 900 statues were carved, and the restored Ahu Tongariki. Stop by Ahu Te Pito Kura, known as the 'Navel of the World,' grab lunch, and enjoy free time. Later, spend about an hour at Anakena Beach with its white sand and palm trees before heading back to your hotel.

Easter Island
Drive up the extinct volcano Rano Kau to take in views across the entire island and see its geological features. You'll visit the crater lake outlook, then head to Oronia, the ceremonial village where the birdman competition happened. The spot offers spectacular petroglyphs and views toward three islets: Motu Nui, Motu Iti, and Motu Kao Kao. Return to your hotel by evening.

Easter Island to Santiago
Your last morning here is free, so you might hang out at the beach, take final photos with the moai, or grab coffee while listening to local music. Make sure you're at the airport 2 hours before your mid-day flight. You'll fly back to Santiago and arrive that evening, where transportation will be ready to take you to your hotel.

Santiago to Lima
A flight from Santiago takes you to Lima, one of the world's top destinations for food. Depending on your flight time, your driver picks you up and takes you to the airport. Once in Lima, you can walk around and explore. The Pacific Ocean breezes and mild desert climate make it perfect for discovering award-winning restaurants. Optional activities include the historic center (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its 16th-century Cathedral, Casa Aliaga colonial mansion, the Larco Museum of pre-Columbian art, Love Park in Miraflores with views of the sunset, and dinner in the Miraflores neighborhood.

Your morning tour starts at Love Park in Miraflores overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Your guide gives you a panoramic look at Huaca Pucllana, then you'll explore the city center including the Main Square, Government Palace, Archbishop's Palace, Cathedral, and Municipality. The tour finishes at the Convent of San Francisco so you can see the Catacombs of Lima underground passages. In the afternoon, you'll head to an exclusive restaurant with Pacific views where someone demonstrates how to make Pisco Sour and ceviche. You'll prepare a typical Peruvian lunch with that same ocean view, then return to your hotel.

Your driver picks you up and takes you to Lima International Airport for a domestic flight to Cusco. Once you arrive, you'll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you're free to explore Cusco on your own. The cobblestone streets, Inca ruins, and vibrant markets give you plenty to discover at whatever pace feels right, and there's a lot of cultural heritage and history to take in.

Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu to Cusco
After breakfast, you'll board a train to Aguas Calientes that travels through a valley, the Urubamba River canyon, and into cloud forest. Once in Aguas Calientes, you'll grab food before a 25-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, the 15th-century Inca citadel built at 7,970 feet as a sanctuary for Emperor Pachacutec. Spend time exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders. Then return to Aguas Calientes, take the train back to Cusco, and transfer to your hotel.
