Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Dades
Your driver meets you at your Marrakech hotel at 8:30 AM to start the 3-day desert journey. The route takes you up and over the Tizi n Tichka Pass, cutting through the High Atlas Mountains and passing small local villages along the way. You'll stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site with incredible architecture and history. After that, the drive continues through Ouarzazate, which serves as the main gateway heading toward the Sahara. From there, you travel through the Valley of Roses with its pink-colored landscape before arriving in Dades village for your first night's stay.

Dades to Merzouga Desert
Day two starts by heading to Todra Gorge, a world-class climbing spot surrounded by palmeries and Berber settlements tucked into green valleys and rose-filled terrain. The drive takes you through Erfoud city, famous for its marble fossils, as you make your way toward Merzouga and the desert proper. Once there, you'll mount a camel for roughly an hour's ride across the sand to reach the bivouac camp at Erg Chebbi Dunes. By evening, you get to watch the sunset over the dunes, enjoy live music, and spend the night camping under the stars (conditions permitting).

Merzouga Desert to Marrakech
Rise early on day three to catch the sunrise across the desert landscape, followed by breakfast at the camp. Then it's back on a camel for the return ride to the city center. The drive home takes you through Draa valley and Agdez on the way back to Marrakech, and if interested, there's an optional stop at the film studios in Ouarzazate. The entire 3-day tour wraps up around 7 PM after covering roughly 565 kilometers total.
