Siem Reap
Starting this morning, your guide picks you up to explore the Angkor complex. You'll go through the South Gate of Angkor Thom and tour Bayon Temple with its 200 carved stone faces, then move through Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephant, and Terrace of the Leper King before seeing the Royal Palace Temple. In the afternoon, you'll head to Angkor Wat to catch the sunset from Phnom Bakheng, and then return to your hotel.

Siem Reap
You'll start before sunrise for an early tour of Angkor Wat, where you can hear the birds singing and have a chance to meet monks and nuns at a nearby pagoda. There's a Buddhist monk blessing ceremony, then breakfast back at the hotel or takeaway. After that, you'll visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre temples known for their detailed carvings. Lunch is at a local restaurant, followed by visits to Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei before having free time to relax later in the afternoon.

Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City
Your guide takes you to Siem Reap International Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Once you land, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is open for relaxation. Later this evening, you have the option to join a dinner buffet aboard the Bonsai Dinner Cruise on the Saigon River with live music and a dance show.

Ho Chi Minh City
This morning you'll head out to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground complex with significant history. Back in Ho Chi Minh City, you'll visit the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Old Saigon Post Office. Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) gives you a nice chance to stroll around on your own.

Mekong Delta
You'll leave early from the city and head to the Mekong Delta. On the river, you'll cruise past islands called Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix. Landing on Unicorn Island, you walk through village roads and see an orchard of tropical fruits, a bee farm with honey-tea, and a typical local house. There's a coconut candy workshop where you can taste fresh candies and listen to traditional southern music. Next, you'll go to Dragon Island and transfer to a local home for homemade lunch where you join in cooking traditional dishes like Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe) and spring rolls. Then it's back to the boat station and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi
Your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. After arriving and checking in at your hotel, your guide picks you up at 4:00 PM for a walking food tour through Hanoi's Old Quarter. You'll taste Trứng Vịt Lộn (balut), local beer, nem tai and nem chua (pig skin), and finish with Cha Ca (grilled fish) as the main course, ending with coffee at a Railway coffee street. The tour wraps up around 8:30 PM.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, you take a private transfer for about 3 hours to Halong City. In the afternoon, you'll board a traditional Vietnamese junk and cruise around Halong Bay's limestone islands and caves. Watch the sunset from the deck, then enjoy dinner this evening. All meals are included while you're on board, and you can choose to swim, kayak, or dive if you want.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
You'll wake early to see the sunrise over the bay and take a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. The cruise continues with your choice of either kayaking or a traditional rowing boat to see local life on the water. Around 11:00 AM, you'll disembark at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port and your guide and driver will transfer you back to your Hanoi hotel.

Hanoi
This full day tour covers Hanoi's main sights and sounds. You'll visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex including the Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's former stilt house, Hoa Lo Prison, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature (Vietnam's oldest university from 1070). After lunch, you explore the Museum of Ethnology with displays about Vietnam's 54 ethnic minorities. Later, an hour-long cyclo ride takes you through the crowded streets of the Old Quarter, ending with a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppets Show.

Hanoi to Vientiane
Your guide takes you through Vientiane, known as the quietest capital in Southeast Asia. You'll start at Wat Sisaket, built in Siamese-style Buddhist architecture with a surrounding terrace and five-level ornate roof featuring over 2,000 ceramic Buddha images and silver decorations. Next is Wat Phra Kaew (built 1556-1565), the former home of the Emerald Buddha before it went to Bangkok, later rebuilt by the French in the 1920s. Then you see That Luang, the sacred golden Buddhist stupa and most important national monument in Laos, and Phatuxay (Victory Gate or Triumphal Gate) built during independence struggles. You'll visit the COPE Centre and finish at Sao Talat or Morning Market for locally made handicrafts.

Your private guide takes you to Vientiane Railway Station where you board a high-speed train to Luang Prabang. The trip takes about 1 hour and 55 minutes. No guide travels with you on the train. When you arrive, you transfer to your hotel.

If you'd like, you can get up early to see the Buddhist Alms Giving Ceremony at 5:40 AM, then take a short visit to the Morning Market. In the afternoon, your guide takes you to local villages of Lao minority groups at Ban Ouay Village. After that, you'll head to Kuang Si Waterfalls where you can jump in the turquoise pools or walk the forest trails. Back in the city, you catch the sunset at Wat Phabath.

Luang Prabang
You start at Wat Xieng Thong, a beautiful 15th-century temple that was the royal temple until 1975 and got completely remodeled in the 1960s. Walking down to the Mekong River, you board a traditional slow boat to the Tam Ting Caves (also called Pak Ou caves) where the Nam Ou River meets the Mekong. This ancient spiritual site holds stupas, shrines, and over 4,000 wooden Buddha figures carved by Lao craftsmen over the centuries. You visit Wat Mai (built 1796), a newer monastery with striking gilded relief panels, and next to it the old Royal Palace (Haw Kham), now the National Museum (closed Tuesdays and Sunday afternoons), housing royal treasures and daily royal life information from until 1975. The day ends atop Phou Si Hill with its gilded stupa, small chapel, and panoramic sunset views of the city, landscape, and Mekong River. Coming down the other side, you pass part of Wat Phra Buddabhat with its unusual statues.

You have free time until your guide arrives to take you to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon landing, your private guide meets you at arrivals and transfers you to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help with luggage and hotel check-in to make your arrival smooth and hassle-free.

Bangkok
Your private guide takes you around Bangkok starting with the Grand Palace, the city's most famous landmark. You'll see the areas used for various occasions including the Coronation Hall, Funeral Hall, Royal Guest House, and the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Next is Wat Pho, one of Bangkok's oldest and largest temples built by King Rama I about 200 years ago, with a giant 49-meter-long, 12-meter-high gold-plated Reclining Buddha with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles. After lunch at a local restaurant, you walk to the pier and take a water taxi to Wat Arun (The Dawn Temple), then return to your hotel.

You'll depart early for a 2-hour drive to the Maeklong Railway Market (Rom Hub Market), where a train runs through the middle several times daily. Watch vendors quickly move their goods using clever movable containers to avoid the train, then set back up once it passes. Your second stop is the 100-year-old Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, 100 km (62 mi) from Bangkok. From around 8 AM to 11 AM daily, hundreds of vendors and buyers float in small rowing boats selling and exchanging goods. You'll ride in a long-tail boat to experience the floating village atmosphere. At a transit point, you can choose to explore more of the market by 4-seat boat at your own cost, or walk the river banks. After lunch, you return to Bangkok for free time.
