Cairo
You'll land at Cairo International Airport where an Egypt Direct Tours representative will be waiting to meet you. From there, a deluxe private car takes you to your hotel for check-in at 14:00 (earlier if available upon request). Settle in and rest after your travel.

Cairo to Aswan
After breakfast, you head out on a full-day Cairo tour starting with the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, plus the Valley Temple and Great Sphinx. Then you'll move through the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization to see the Royal Mummies' Hall and Coptic sites including the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. By evening you'll return to collect luggage and head to Giza Railway Station for an overnight train to Aswan.

Aswan
The train arrives at Aswan Railway Station and a deluxe car brings you to your 5-star Nile River Cruise for midday boarding. After lunch on board, your guide takes you to the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Island before returning to the cruise for the night.

Aswan to Edfu
An optional early departure at 03:30 AM takes you 350 km to the Temple of Abu Simbel, returning by noon for lunch on board. The cruise then heads toward Kom Ombo, arriving around 17:00 to visit the double temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. You'll continue sailing to Edfu through the evening, arriving around 22:00 for overnight.

Edfu to Luxor
Early pickup at 06:30 AM takes you to Edfu Temple where you'll travel by horse carriage before returning for breakfast on the cruise. Then you sail toward Luxor, crossing the Nile lock at midday and arriving around 17:00. That afternoon and evening you'll explore Karnak and Luxor temples, walking among the pillars and the avenue of Sphinxes.

Luxor to Cairo
After breakfast you disembark to explore the Valley of the Kings where ancient pharaohs and nobles were buried in cliff-side crypts. You'll also see the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, then have lunch at a local restaurant. Later you'll transfer to Luxor Railway Station for an overnight sleeping train back to Cairo.

The train pulls into Giza Railway Station around 06:00 AM where your representative meets you. From there you transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure, or you can choose to transfer to a hotel in Cairo or Giza instead.
