Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech
Your Marrakech adventure kicks off with a welcome meeting at 6 pm. Afterward, you can wander out to Djemaa el-Fna, the city's main gathering spot and one of the world's largest public squares. It's the heart of Marrakech, so this gives you a good feel for the energy and pace of the place right from the start.

Marrakech to Casablanca
You'll take the train from Marrakech and pull into Casablanca by early afternoon. Your leader will take you on a quick walk around the city to get your bearings, then the rest of the day is yours to check out whatever catches your interest at your own pace.

Casablanca to Chefchaouen
A private vehicle takes you to Chefchaouen, known as the blue city because of its striking blue-painted buildings set in the Rif Mountains. You'll arrive mid-afternoon and do an orientation walk with your leader, finishing at a sunset viewpoint where you can see the town's blue and white houses from above as the light fades.

Landmarks/POIs Chefchaouen Rif Mountains - Day 4
Chefchaouen to Fes
You'll head out to Volubilis, a World Heritage site and former Roman outpost perched on a hilltop. Your local guide walks you through the ancient ruins explaining what you're seeing, then it's on to Fes in the afternoon where you'll spend the next couple of nights.

Fes
After breakfast, you get a guided walking tour through Fes el Bali, the old medina that feels like stepping back centuries. Your guide takes you through the winding streets to see the Medersa Bou Inania, Medresse el Attarine, and the restored Funduq al-Najjarin, plus the famous tannery and ceramics factory. The afternoon is free to wander and explore on your own.

Fes to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
The drive toward the Sahara offers plenty of chances to stop and see local kasbahs and palm groves, sometimes spotting nomads with their herds. You'll pass through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching Merzouga. In the evening, you mount a camel to watch the sunset across the Erg Chebbi dunes, then stay overnight in a desert camp where dinner is a home-cooked meal shared by the fire.

Landmarks/POIs Erg Chebbi Merzouga - Day 7
Merzouga to Dades Valley
Wake early to climb the nearest dune and catch the sunrise over the Sahara, then have traditional breakfast before heading to Todra Gorge. This massive canyon rises over 250 meters high. You'll do a short, gentle walk through the gorge, then continue to the Dades Valley where you'll settle in for two nights.

Landmarks/POIs Todra Gorge Dades Valley - Day 8
Dades Valley
Today you spend time hiking through rural Morocco, walking along rivers and through farms and abandoned kasbahs surrounded by palm groves. Your guide will share what life is like for people living out here. Lunch is a home-cooked meal with a local Amazigh family, and the rest of the day is free to explore the area or just relax.

Landmarks/POIs Dades Valley - Day 9
Dades Valley to Marrakech
You leave the Dades Valley and drive along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs heading to Ait Benhaddou, an old hilltop settlement that's barely changed since the 11th century. You'll walk through the narrow streets of the old town and climb to the top for good views. By late afternoon you're back in Marrakech, and your leader takes you to Djemaa el-Fna to watch the sunset over drinks.

Marrakech
There's nothing scheduled after breakfast, so you can head out whenever you're ready. If you want to stick around Marrakech, there are cooking classes, cycling tours, nearby towns to visit, or you could book a traditional hammam experience to finish your trip on a relaxed note.
