- TGTim· August 28th, 2023A well balanced tour with mountains, plains and ocean. Our kids were kept active with the hike, walking, swimming and impromptu soccer! We appreciated learning about the rich history and customs while seeing modernization with irrigation and solar. We absolutely loved the people we met along the way including our wonderful tour guide, professional driver, humble homestay hosts, meek demonstration hosts, and extremely fun tour families! We learned that drinking juice and pop does help with hydration in the summer extreme heat. Toilet paper and sanitizer could be your friend but so worth the adventure! Bring tip money! One wish…a way for our family to give back to the communities we experienced (ex. schools supplies, soccer balls etc). Maybe even to visit a rural school. Overall, an amazing experience! Many tour operators do not carry children under the age of 10, so family trips are not only more flexible with the age of the passengers that they allow on the tour, but it also lets other passengers know that there are kids on tour.
Also, a little more care is taken when arranging the itinerary to make sure that there are things to do that will be fun for all ages.
