You'll arrive in Cairo and check into your hotel at Giza, which has direct views of the pyramids from your room. This evening, settle in with sunset drinks and canapes while looking out at these iconic monuments.

Giza
Start the day at the pyramids and the Sphinx, taking time to walk around and see these ancient structures up close. In the afternoon, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum where you'll find treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb and the Solar Boat, a restored cedar wood barge built around 2500 BC.

Luxor
If you'd like, there's an optional hot air balloon flight available for a bird's-eye view of ancient sites around Luxor. Later in the afternoon, explore the Valley of the Nobles, which has hundreds of rock-cut tombs decorated with colorful frescoes carved into the stone.

Luxor
You'll board the Sanctuary Sun Boat III for your river cruise. Start by exploring Karnak temple complex and see the Hypostyle Hall with its massive columns. After that, cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and see the monument to Queen Hatshepsut.

Luxor to Aswan
The boat continues south, following the route ancient pharaohs once traveled, passing villages and temples along the Nile. You'll visit Esna Temple and Kom Ombo Temple, which sits on the east bank and was dedicated to the Crocodile God. Later tonight, there's a Galabeyya party on board with Egyptian food, music, and dancing.
