Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakesh to Agdez
You'll get picked up from your accommodation and head into the mountains. The drive takes you through some beautiful scenery with a stop at N'tizi Techka mountain where you can get panoramic views of the area. From there, you'll check out the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is one of the region's main historical sites. After grabbing lunch in Ouarzazate, the drive continues through Draa Valley. You'll pass several ancient kasbahs and palm oases along the way before arriving in Agdez for the evening.

Agdez to Erg Chegagga
Following breakfast, you'll drive through Zagora's palm tree lined province heading toward Tamegrout pottery village where local artisans work. You can watch them creating pottery and see their process. The route then takes you to Mhamid El Ghizlane, which is essentially the last village before the Sahara starts. From there, an off-road vehicle takes you into the desert itself to reach your camp at Erg Chegagga. By evening you'll settle in with mint tea, a traditional dinner, and entertainment around the campfire as the sun sets over the dunes.

- Day 3
Erg Chegagga
Your guide will wake you early enough to watch the sunrise from the desert. After a full breakfast, you'll head out on camel trek with your guide sharing stories about nomadic life in the region. Around midday you'll rest under a Tamarisk tree and have lunch. Later you'll return to camp for a hot shower to clean up. The evening brings you back to the campfire for storytelling and music under the stars.

- Day 4
Erg Chegagga to Marrakesh
After breakfast you'll depart the desert camp and start heading back toward Marrakesh. Along the way you'll stop at Iriqui Lake, which used to be an important gathering place for nomadic groups and serves as a rest stop for migratory birds. The route goes through Foum Zguid and then Taznakht village where you'll stop for lunch. You'll then cross through the High Atlas Mountains with nice views on the drive before reaching your Marrakesh accommodation by evening.
