After breakfast, your guide takes you on a tour visiting the National Museum, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Independence Monument, Russian Market, and Wat Phnom. You'll have lunch at a local Cambodian restaurant. The afternoon includes visits to Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes and Cheung Ek Killing Fields, incredibly moving experiences that provide essential understanding of Cambodia's difficult history. During your visit, you'll meet Cambodians who lost family members during these years. Despite their losses, they remain willing to talk openly and want you to hear their stories to ensure it never happens again.
