- Day 1
Zurich Arrival
You'll land in Zurich and use your Swiss Pass to reach your hotel near the airport. Get settled in for the night. Your pass covers 8 days of public transport and sightseeing access throughout Switzerland, so you're all set to start exploring tomorrow.

- Day 2
Zurich to Lucerne
Take the train to Lucerne with your Swiss Pass and check into your hotel. From there, head up Mt. Rigi by train and cable car to see typical Swiss alpine views with meadows, forests, and cattle grazing. Wrap up the day with a boat ride on Lake Lucerne where you'll pass small villages and mountains reflected in the water.

Lucerne to Mt. Titlis & Stanserhorn
Train to Engelberg, then ride gondolas and cable cars up Mt. Titlis to experience high alpine terrain with rocks and snow. The Ice Flyer chairlift takes you directly over the glacier. Later, the CabriO open-top cable car rides up Stanserhorn for 360-degree views across the Alpine chain and 10 Swiss lakes.

Lucerne to Interlaken
Travel by train from Lucerne to Interlaken using your Swiss Pass and settle into your hotel. You can stay in Interlaken town, or if you prefer something more secluded, consider upgrading to Wengen or Grindelwald in the surrounding valleys.

- Day 5
Interlaken Region Exploration
Use your regional train pass to explore the Interlaken region. Head to the car-free villages of Murren and Wengen in the Lauterbrunnen Valley for views of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. If hiking interests you, there are trails throughout the valley. You can also access Trummelbach Falls, ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside a mountain that you reach by tunnel-funicular.

Interlaken to Montreux
Take the train from Interlaken to Montreux with your Swiss Pass. Check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day settling into this lakeside town on Lake Geneva.

GoldenPass Panoramic Express Train
Ride the GoldenPass Panoramic Express, a scenic train connecting Montreux, Gruyeres, and Broc Fabrique. The route passes through Interlaken, Gstaad, Chateau-d'Oex, and Montbovon, each with their own alpine character and attractions. Return to Montreux for the night.

Montreux to Zurich
Train to Zurich with your Swiss Pass and check in to your hotel. Visit the Rhine Falls, one of Europe's largest waterfalls, which you can see free from viewing platforms. A boat tour to get closer costs 15 Swiss Francs per person if you want. Later, do a self-guided walk through Zurich's center, hitting the Town Hall, Cathedral, Opera House, and historic streets using Google Maps.

Departure from Zurich
Depart for Zurich Airport. If your hotel offers a shuttle, that costs 6 to 8 Swiss Francs per person paid directly. Otherwise, arrange your own transport from the city center to the airport.
