The Halong bay cruise was zero star. Day 7 and 8 comprised a one hour cab ride and a one hour flight. Cambodia was fine. In fact instead of ax10 to 3 day split 9 to 4 would be better.Show more

- TLTom· December 27th, 2024A fantastic two-week tour of Vietnam (covering Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh) and finishing in Siem Reap, Cambodia, involving two internal flights and all manner of day trips and excursions. (The old town of Hoi An, exploring the Cu Chi tunnels, paddling on the Mekong River, and discovering Cambodia were the highlights for me). The whole tour was extremely well planned and slickly executed - pickups were almost invariably on time, transport comfortable and air-conditioned, restaurants and food excellent, and tour guides overwhelmingly knowledgeable and very personable. On the one occasion a bus trip didn't happen as scheduled, the office staff moved into action quickly and a good solution was found. Special mention to Sophia, in the Hoi An office, who without over-communicating kept us fully in the picture as to what to expect and what to prepare each day.
