- Day 1
Los Angeles to San Francisco
You'll head north from Los Angeles and make your first stop in Santa Barbara to check out the Spanish Mission. After that, drive into the charming Danish village of Solvang where you can browse around for a bit. From there, you'll take scenic Route 1 with those great coastal views on your way to Carmel. Once you arrive, you've got free time to walk around and get to know the town before settling into your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
San Francisco
You'll start your San Francisco day at Fisherman's Wharf and hop on a bay cruise that takes you under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island. Back at Pier 39, grab lunch and then spend your afternoon hitting up the major spots like Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill. As evening comes, head to the Bay Bridge for some night views of the city before you head back to your hotel.

San Francisco to Yosemite National Park (Summer) / Monterey to Stevenson Ranch (Winter)
Summer option: You'll drive east through farmlands and enter Yosemite National Park, stopping by El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and Half Dome along the way. From the Yosemite Visitor Centre, there's a hike up to Yosemite Falls (730 meters tall), one of North America's tallest waterfalls. Later you'll head to Stevenson Ranch for the night. Winter option: Instead, you'll visit Monterey's wharf and Cannery Row, then explore the coastal town of Carmel-by-the-Sea with its boutiques and galleries. You'll drive scenic Route 1 before heading to Stevenson Ranch for the evening.

- Day 4
Stevenson Ranch to Las Vegas
You'll travel east through desert landscape and Death Valley on your way to Las Vegas. There's a stop at an outlet mall right on the Nevada State Line where you can shop for brands like Levi's, Nike, and Reebok, plus grab some lunch. Once evening hits, you'll tour the Las Vegas Strip to see the big hotels and attractions like Caesar's Palace, The Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Mandalay Bay, New York-New York, and Treasure Island. If you're feeling lucky, try your hand at the casinos.

After taking your time with breakfast, head out to Hoover Dam and spend time learning about how this engineering feat came together and what it meant for the region. You'll drive back to Las Vegas and have the rest of your day open to check out whatever interests you among the many attractions and shows the city offers.

Las Vegas to Sedona to Page
You'll cross the Mojave Desert and head up the Colorado Plateau following historic Route 66 toward Sedona. The scenic drive takes you through Oak Creek Canyon where you'll drop 2,000 feet with photo stops at an overlook and Slide Rock State Park. In Sedona, you'll explore the red rock landscape and take time during lunch to browse Indian arts and crafts plus local boutiques. Next, visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross (you can walk through it on your own) to see panoramic views of Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Cathedral Rock. From there, you're heading to Page for the night.

Horseshoe Bend
You'll venture into Monument Valley deep within Navajo Nation and see those iconic sandstone formations that rise 400 to 1,000 feet high. A Navajo guide will lead your jeep tour and share why they consider this land so special and different from anywhere else. After that, you'll continue to Horseshoe Bend, a striking Colorado River landmark. You'll stay overnight in Page.

Valley of Fire - Las Vegas
You'll start at Antelope Canyon, an important Navajo site with sand dunes shaped by wind, water, and erosion over thousands of years. You'll drive back toward Las Vegas and stop for lunch along the way. Next comes the Valley of Fire, named for its red sandstone formations that date back over 150 million years from the dinosaur era. When the sunlight hits just right, those rocks light up with fiery colors (depending on weather). You should be back in Las Vegas by early evening.
