- MGMichele· August 5th, 2024Tour radar were super. I had a person on the end of the phone who was very clear to understand when we initially called to enquire and book our trip. We were connected with a tour company in the area we wished to tour, and the communication with them was great - they wisely used whatsapp as well as emails (unbeknown to me I couldn't access emails abroad). We then interacted with two guides who did their parts exceptionally well. Our accommodation was booked by tour radar and we were settled in without any problems. Our guides took us through technical areas of the mountain range and made us feel comfortable and safe. We were dropped off at our accommodation at the end of our tour with absolutely no complaints. yes the via ferrata equipment is included. The route you will take is ok for those who have no experience in the via ferrata climbing, but the participants should be physically able to hike 7-8 hours uphill and should be comfortable with heights and narrow and exposed sections. Each participant should also have appropriate hiking boots - any sneakers, trail runners or light waking shoes are NOT appropriate.

Asked on May 27th, 2024Coming from USA. 3 fairly fit adults. Trying to figure logistics of Mt. Triglav climb. How do people handle food and lodging; do we need sleeping bags and carry in our own food? Weather early July?

The hut where you will spend the night has a kitchen and you can get there all meals + packed sandwich for to go. We only advise you bring a sandwich or some snacks for while hiking the first day (until you reach the hut) as there are no other huts along the way where you can get food. The reservation at the hut will be made by us on your behalf, but accommodation and food is not included in tour price and is paid separately, at the hut. In the hut, a purchase of sleeping sheets is obligatory (5eur/person). Due to hygienic reasons, the use of your own sleeping bags is not allowed. The weather in July should be nice with quite high temperatures, but of course that is impossible to say for certain. There could be some sections (he shady parts) with a little bit of snow left, but nothing to worry about - winter equipment (crampons) would not be needed, only appropriate hiking boots with a good grip (sneakers or any kind of light walking shoes are NOT appropriate for this tour).
