Minibus was a bit cramped with a fully booked tour group but we covered alot of ground in just a few days. Asked on June 28th, 2025My husband and I would like to book this trip in the fall. Question: my husband is 80 years old, a bit hard to walk or hike, is there any possibility to rent a scooter or any mobility tools? What is the pace for walking? What do you advise?
On The Go ToursOperator•Written June 2025This tour involves extensive hiking on uneven terrain, covering an average of 5 to 8 kilometres (3-5 miles) at a time, but sometimes more. Elevation changes range from 50 to 1,000 feet, and both touring and overnight locations are situated at altitudes between 5,000 and 8,000 feet above sea level. Due to the physical demands of this itinerary, participants should be prepared for significant activity. This tour unfortunately wouldn't be possible for someone that required a scooter, or mobility aid. I have had a look at other tours we offer in the region and there isn't any I'm sorry, they all require the same physical ability.
