Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Negombo
You'll land at Colombo airport where your tour representative meets you. After the transfer to Negombo, check into your beachfront hotel and settle in. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like, whether that's relaxing on the beach, lounging by the pool, or just soaking in the coastal atmosphere at your own pace.

- Days 2 - 3
Negombo to Sigiriya
Start your day heading to Dambulla and the Pinnawala Elephant Rehabilitation Centre where you'll feed and bathe rescued elephants. From there, continue to Sigiriya for a cultural village tour by tuk-tuk and catamaran. You'll also take a Sri Lankan curry cooking class at a local farmhouse. Later, climb Pidurangala Rock at sunset to catch views of Sigiriya Rock. Day 3 brings the famous Sigiriya Rock climb itself, exploring ancient palace ruins and wall paintings. An optional afternoon safari at Minneriya National Park is available. Your evening includes a traditional local feast and an Ayurvedic massage to help you recover.

Sigiriya to Kandy
Leave Sigiriya and travel south toward Kandy. You'll stop at the Dambulla Caves to see painted walls and stone Buddha statues. Then visit a spice garden to learn where different spices originate. A one-hour cultural show with traditional Sri Lankan music and dance happens next. After that, head back to your Kandy hotel to rest and prepare for the following day.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Breakfast comes with views overlooking Kandy's hills. Next, visit the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist shrine said to house Buddha's tooth. Then you'll tour Sri Lankan gem and hand-carving factories before heading into the hill country. You'll reach Nuwara Eliya with its misty hills, waterfalls, and colonial buildings. Visit a working tea factory to see how seven different tea types come from the same plant. End with an afternoon walk through Victoria Park where you can see local produce, flowers, and kids on horseback or boating.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella
After hotel breakfast, head to Nanu Oya station for one of the world's most scenic train journeys. You'll travel through mountains, tea plantations, forests, waterfalls, and valleys to reach Ella. Try some street food on the train like fresh pineapple or fried vades. Your driver meets you in Ella, and before checking in, you'll explore the Nine Arch Bridge and hike to Little Adam's Peak for the views.

Ella to Yala
Travel south to Yala and check into your accommodation. After lunch, you'll board jeeps for a safari through Yala National Park looking for elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, monkeys, eagles, hawks, peacocks, mongooses, and possibly leopards. Back at your hotel or camp for the evening, a BBQ dinner celebrates your wildlife adventures.

Yala to Tangalle
Following a relaxed breakfast, travel to Tangalle, a quiet coastal town in the south with pristine beaches, palm trees, and clear waters. You'll check out the Tangalle Lagoon and the Mulkirigala Rock Temple. Spend your afternoon relaxing on the beach or by the pool.

Tangalle to Mirissa
Rise early to spend time at Tangalle's golden sand beach where large waves roll in and sea turtles swim through the water. The next morning, wake up for a boat trip to see blue whales as they breach, swim, and dive around you. Later, head to Galle, a historic city known for its iconic Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Dutch and British architecture mixes with tropical scenery. You'll spend two nights in the beachside town of Mirissa.

Landmarks/POIs Galle Fort - Day 11
Mirissa to Colombo
After breakfast, board a boat for a ride through the Madu River's mangroves. You can try Sri Lankan fish therapy if interested. Next is a turtle hatchery center where you'll see baby turtles starting their ocean journey and injured adults being prepared for release. Then drive to Colombo and check in. You'll have free time to visit the National Museum, an art gallery, or shop at Pettah Markets for souvenirs.
