There are a lot of one night stays which give you a change of scenery but make things rather hectic. I would have liked a little longer in Cape Town but we managed to pack in many varied experiences and the scenery was superb. Our tour leader and the driver were excellent.

How do I find out about combining air travel with trip?

    Flights / Transfers
    • Explore!OperatorWritten April 2025

We don't book any of the international flights so you would need to make your own flight arrangements. The trip you selected is for adults travelling with kids ages 7-18. So if you are both over 18 then you are not able to take our "family" trips.

My bucket list is an African Safari. Wanting to see elephants. This trip is for my 75th birthday and bringing my daughter who is 50. I would like a 7 to 10 trip, all inclusive if possible.

    • Explore!OperatorWritten May 2025

The tour you have inquired on is actually a family tour - this means you must be travelling with someone under the age of 18 to join. We do not offer any airfare.

Would love to see the penguins. Being in Cape Town that long, I am sure there are extra fees to do all that is listed in the itinerary. I really am interested in seeing the wild life and being in the bush. The rafting sounds nice also, but, it's hard for me to walk great distances.

    • Explore!OperatorWritten May 2025

We do not have anything shorter in that region than 10 days. For something that includes Cape Town, we would need to look at one of our longer tours. Tick the Garden Route off your bucket list on South Africa's most famous road trip. Get a view of Table Mountain from vibrant Cape Town, taste world-renowned wines in the Stellenbosch region and spot herds of elephants (as well as penguin colonies).
