Hanoi
This morning you'll visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and Presidential Palace. After lunch, head over to the Temple of Literature and Ethnological Museum to spend your afternoon there. By evening, you'll have another chance to see a water puppet show if you'd like to experience it again or catch a different performance.

Hanoi to Mai Chau
After breakfast and checking out, you'll drive from Hanoi toward Mai Chau. In the afternoon, a local guide will take you on a walk to a nearby village for about 2.5 hours. The route covers roughly 6 km and offers nice highland views of the surrounding landscape.

Hue to Hoi An
Start with a city tour covering the Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the citadel with its imperial palace. You'll return to Hue by traditional dragon boat. Then travel over the scenic Hai Van Pass toward Hoi An with a stop for photos along the way. Visit the Cham Museum in Danang before reaching Hoi An, where the rest of your afternoon and evening are free to wander the old town.

Take a guided walk through Hoi An's restored old town on quiet pedestrian streets. You'll visit a traditional house, the Hoi An Museum, a Chinese Assembly Hall, and the Japanese Covered Bridge. End the day with a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to see the town from the water.
