Koblenz
You'll arrive in Koblenz and board the MS Olympia starting at 4 pm. Get settled into your cabin on the river ship, then head to dinner this evening to meet your fellow travelers and get oriented before the journey begins.

Alken to Cochem
From Alken, you have options. Cycling is available to Moselkern and then on to Cochem, where you'll see half-timbered houses, the town hall, St. Martin's fountain, and Reichsburg castle rising above the town. If you'd rather take it easy, stay on the boat and relax in Cochem for the afternoon instead.

Beilstein to Zell an der Mosel
After breakfast, cycle along the Moselle's scenic meanders to Beilstein, a charming town known locally as 'Rothenburg on the Moselle'. From there, continue past the Bremmer Calmont, Europe's steepest vineyard, reaching Zell an der Mosel where you can check out the Zeller Schwarze Katz vineyard and try some local wines.

Traben-Trarbach to Bernkastel-Kues
This day takes you through the Art Nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach and the wine village of Kröv before arriving in Bernkastel-Kues. The town has elegant half-timbered houses around a medieval market square, so there's plenty to see on foot after cycling in.

Head to Piesport, the largest wine-growing area on the Moselle, where you can see the largest Roman wine press ever found north of the Alps. Continue on to Neumagen-Dhron, Germany's oldest wine village, to view a Roman wine ship replica before arriving in Mehring by early afternoon.

Trier
Cycle to Trier via Pfalzel, reaching one of Germany's oldest cities. An extended tour shows off its Roman past through the Porta Nigra city gate and the Constantine Basilica, among other significant structures that tell the story of Roman occupation.
