Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz
After arriving in Baltra, you'll take a bus and ferry combination to reach Santa Cruz. Once you get to Puerto Ayora, check into your hotel on Pelican Bay where you can settle in and get your bearings. Spend the afternoon wandering around the harbor town to get a feel for the place. Later, head to the Charles Darwin Research Station where you can see giant Galápagos tortoises and land iguanas up close. It's a good introduction to the wildlife you'll encounter over the next few days.

- Day 2
Santa Cruz - Island Excursion
You'll spend the day on one of four islands depending on weather and park regulations. North Seymour offers a 1.5 km hike where you might spot frigate birds, boobies, and sea lions, followed by snorkeling at Bachas Beach. South Plazas has a one-hour hike through tree opuntias with chances to see sea lions and unique flora, then swimming and snorkeling at Punta Carrión. Bartolomé lets you hike to the highest point for views of Pinnacle Rock and volcanic landscape before relaxing and snorkeling at Bahia Sullivan. Santa Fé, the oldest island, features endemic species and snorkeling in Barrington Bay. Your guide will decide which option works best based on conditions.

- Day 3
Santa Cruz - Island Excursion
This is another full-day excursion to one of the same four islands, so you'll visit a different area than yesterday. You'll have another opportunity to hike through varied terrain, observe wildlife in their natural habitat, and get in the water for snorkeling. Each island has its own character and wildlife patterns, so the experience will be quite different from the previous day even if you're returning to the same island.

Santa Cruz to Baltra
Time to head back. You'll transfer to Itabaca Channel and take the ferry back to Baltra. From there, catch the shuttle bus to Baltra airport and prepare for your departure. Make sure to have everything packed and ready before you leave your hotel.
