This is a well organised tour and I really enjoyed it. For each trip was a different tour guide and they were all very professional and very knowledgeable. Galapagos is so beautiful and I got to see so many animals, from giant tortoise to sea lion and colourful fish in the ocean. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely do it again.

It was an amazing trip. The programme was well designed to see as much as possible in a few days. The accomodation was not great, but reasonable for the price. The staff at the hotel was really nice and helpful. They even assisted my husband when he needed to see a doctor. Each programme had a different guide, some were excellent, but at one of the snorkelling trips the guide left me and my kids simply behind - we are good swimmers, but could not keep up. Excellent nature destination, with varied activities from kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, etc. It allows you to meet a wide variety of animals and interact in their own habitat. Basic but sufficient and clean accommodation. There was a need to provide more detailed information about the daily program to customers, especially as the guide changed each day.

    Asked on February 3rd, 2025

I am wondering if a dive master will accompany us for the scuba dives? We have open water certification only and we prefer to have a guide in the water.

    Tour Details
    • Cami AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

The yours guides who are part of the boat crew must have a dive master certificate since it is a request from the Galapagos national park. The guides always must be in the water with passengers, making sure everyone is okay.

  • L

    Linda

    Asked on April 1st, 2024

Please confirm how many dives per day there are. Is it 2 dives per day so 4 dives in total? Also is it possible to add any extra dives?

    Tour Details
    • Cami AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2024

It is 2 dives per day, 35-55 minutes approx.- dive morning (lunch) 35-55 minutes another dive afternoon. It is possible, but you have to present your PADI certificate 30 immersions at least, especially for Gordon Rocks.

    • L

      Linda

      TravelerWritten April 2024

Is it possible to do 3 days of dives without 30 immersions if we start on a different day? (So the schedule will not include Gordon rocks?)

    • Cami AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2024

Each immersion takes 35 - 55 minutes, All the visits are regulated by the Galapagos National Park, it is not possible to avoid Gordon, we cannot choose the place. The spots for diving are designated for each company.

Am I able to stay longer and see more of Galapagos? Additional dives

    • Cami AdventuresOperatorWritten December 2022

Normally we have a group of 8 people with a professional dive guide. In order to practice diving, you need to present the PADI certification and show your experience of 25 and 30 immersions. Extra dive activities are possible depending on availability and after informing the Galapagos National Park about your flight schedule.

I see that the age range is 18 to 55. I am 57 and interested in the trip. I am in superb shape, have done 3 Ironman races (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) and experienced in diving and open water swimming. Are exceptions allowed in these cases?
