Itinerary
- Day 1
Amsterdam
You'll board your river cruise in Amsterdam at 16:00 and settle in with a welcome cocktail to kick off the trip. After that comes dinner followed by a traditional shanty choir performance right there on the ship. Spend your first night aboard your floating hotel and get comfortable in your cabin.

Amsterdam to Utrecht to Cologne
Following breakfast, you'll join a city and canal tour through Amsterdam's waterways before heading back to the ship for lunch. The cruise leaves Amsterdam at 08:30 and pushes upstream, reaching Utrecht by 12:30 and departing just 30 minutes later to continue toward Cologne.

Cologne
You'll arrive in Cologne at 10:30 and take a guided tour through the old town, seeing the famous Cologne Cathedral with a Kölsch tasting included. The afternoon is yours to wander the winding streets and browse shops on your own time. Optional excursions head out to Siebengebirge and Drachenfels castle ruins about 40 km away. The ship departs at 20:00.

Cochem
The cruise heads down the Moselle River and you'll arrive in Cochem by 14:00. An afternoon walking tour lets you explore this charming riverside town, or you can visit Reichsburg Castle towering above the city instead. There's also time to relax at a local wine shop before the ship leaves at 21:45.

Koblenz to Rüdesheim
You'll dock in Koblenz early at 06:00 and join a guided walk through the romantic old alleys. Then comes a scenic cruise along the Upper Middle Rhine Valley with views of roughly 40 castles and the iconic Loreley Rock. Late afternoon brings you to Rüdesheim where you can explore this wine town or visit Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet and traditional wineries along Drosselgasse. Departure is at 22:00.

Mannheim to Speyer
After docking in Mannheim at 06:00 and having breakfast, you'll take a guided tour to Heidelberg to see the castle ruins and experience German heritage. The afternoon moves on to Speyer, one of Germany's oldest cities, where you'll see the imperial cathedral and take part in a pretzel tasting to learn the local specialty. The ship heads toward Strasbourg at 19:30.

Later you can relax on the sun deck reflecting on your journey, then attend the Captain's Gala Dinner this evening. Departure is at 13:00.

You'll arrive in Basel at 09:00 and after breakfast board a coach heading through the Swiss Alps to Lucerne, arriving at 16:00. Your travel companion helps with hotel check-in at a 4 or 5-star property and shares tips for your free afternoon in this lakeside area. Dinner at your hotel rounds out the day.

Lucerne
Start with breakfast then join a guided walking tour of Lucerne's old town, crossing the 700-year-old Chapel Bridge to the historic water tower. In the afternoon, the cogwheel railway takes you up to Pilatus Kulm at 2,128 meters for Alpine views, then you descend via cable car and gondola back to your bus. The evening is free to relax by the lake.
