Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha
You'll arrive in Tanzania and connect with your Polecat Safaris representative at the airport. From there, you'll transfer to the Arusha Serena Hotel, which sits on elevated grounds with nice views over the surrounding area. This gives you time to settle in, freshen up, and get ready for the safari adventures coming your way.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll head into Tarangire National Park with your guide. During the game drive, you'll see elephant herds, giraffes, hartebeests, and predators moving through landscapes dotted with ancient Baobab trees. You'll get a packed lunch in the field, then continue exploring in the afternoon. By evening, you'll reach Manyara Secret Luxury Lodge in Mto wa Mbu for the night.

Lake Manyara
You start the morning with a walking safari at Lake Manyara, moving through the landscape on foot with your guide. Later, you'll participate in a cultural tour where local communities share their traditions and way of life. Back at Manyara Secret Lodge, you'll have dinner and relax in the comfortable surroundings before heading to bed.

Serengeti National Park
Early morning brings an open-roof drive through the Serengeti as the sun comes up. You'll see impalas near buffaloes, hippos in water holes, and predators like cheetahs, lions, and leopards. A packed lunch happens out on the plains mid-day. After a full afternoon of searching for wildlife, you'll return to Safari Haven Camp.

Serengeti National Park
This full-day game drive follows the seasonal patterns of the Serengeti, potentially tracking migration routes depending on when you visit. You'll start before dawn to catch the golden light as animals become active. Mid-day, you'll have lunch on the plains. If it's migration season, you might see large herds moving through. By evening, you're back at Safari Haven Camp.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
You'll do a morning game drive through the Serengeti as light breaks across the plains. This gives you chances to see wildlife like lions hunting or other animals in their natural behavior. Later, you'll travel to either Ngorongoro Serena or Ndutu Safari Lodge, depending on what's available. Both properties sit in scenic locations with good views.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning (around 6:30 to 7:00 AM), you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater in an open-roof Land Cruiser. The 600-meter walls surround you as you search for black rhinos and other wildlife in this unique ecosystem. After the morning drive, you'll have lunch beside the hippo pool. Afternoon exploration continues before you head back toward Lake Manyara's area for the night.

Materuni Waterfalls
You'll take a day trip from Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls on Kilimanjaro's forested slopes. The drive takes you through green landscapes and coffee plantations to Materuni village. From there, you'll hike with a local guide who explains the Chagga people's culture and shows you Arabica coffee growing. You'll reach the waterfall and can swim in the natural pools. Later, you'll return to Arusha Serena Hotel to swim or have dinner.

You'll explore Arusha's town center and local culture. Starting at the historic Clock Tower, you'll ride a tuk-tuk through town to reach busy markets. There you can browse handcrafted items and negotiate with vendors. You'll learn about Arusha's history, its role as a diplomatic hub, and how it serves as a gateway to the Serengeti and Kilimanjaro. By afternoon, you're back at Arusha Serena Hotel.
